what was the ending of the novel ? who did she end up with ?
The novel is totally a different game! I really hope they don't follow it completely. The ML is not someone whom you can preach or even like. (Warning -R**e) The ending of the novel is very reasonable and realistic ML did so many blunder( well calling them blunders is not a right thing to do) but anyways at the end they do not end up together ( They have a kid though, ML relinquished the rights to the child.) FL doesn't even acknowledges ML ( there is scene where they meet ) and the ML is burning with guilt . They don't end up together and it's oddly satisfying . Fei Wo Si Cun really seem like a stepmother when it comes to her novels.( I cried like in every damn chapter:-().
i think HC said bring back God Of War to heaven.. but.. can he do that?
In the novel , XJ successfully takes SF back to Mortal realm , and they have a happy ending in mortal realm itself . (Marriage and kids) The novel didn't have anything about afterlife as an immortal for XJ and SF.

Damn , this thing was there in novel tooo. Basically SF and others (WZQ, purple fox ,etc ) are captured by HC . And to save them XJ goes to some Mountain which is like gateway to heaven ,there she confronts HC and all. Looks like now the drama will follow the novel. Except the story as to what happened 900 ago ..it is still unclear.
Yeah , we have to wait till 10th September to understand :-(

I have exam on 15 September , hence I binged watched atleast till epi 50 right after waking up so as to study the whole day. Lol:-p also SF was missing in most of the scenes , :-(
