I agree for me this was written in a modern forward thinking way. There were reasons for each decision made even if they only made sense to the individual it helped the relationship evolve moving forward. I get how some people can be triggered with a brothel scene or a motel cheating scene but to me it helped move outcome forward. I think because ML is more female style he can express his feelings more and probably has to be in love to have sex. I think FL has issues expressing her emotions like a man does and she let him cheat cuz that score for score logic she says in her head then she realize too late that was wrong. why do they keep showing FL mom and how toxic the relationship has become? I feel like FL needs to have a closeness a form of being super vulnerable she cant because her mom raised her without warmth and love and sure I guess sort of worked with Pro whose job is to please but she needs more with her husband for a future of being a couple together.
