If we go typical manga/anime route then character growth is huge and in my humble opinion Minato has farthest to go so him giving up but being humble makes sense not sure which I love it not being easy to pick the direction the acting is amazing on sidenote

True the word ensemble doesnt exist or crew. You get one episode then your done. My guess her brother will constantly be saying your making a mistake dont mess things up. Maybe his sister might have more or his mother? SML has zero family support so easier to paint him in corner but he has job and apartment plus he supports FL my guess why she can only work part time? I have been discussing this with other jdramas fans and the key is no matter what writer does SML is a great guy even if they show him bullying elders all of the sudden it wont work. My guess either all three walk away single with possible open ending? Another even more bleak ending is terminal death which is possible we are talking jdramas here.
Last SML leaves completely either in location or in heart of FL and if her guilt can take it will see............ Remember without SML helping them have courage in High School the couple might of never happen? people/viewers forget this part but writers dont from Japan
