Previously Jun Jun, wasnt popular & he said he never chose any drama to act in. They chose for him. Since he had no choice he acted in many dramas which had poor scripts.
The reason he even acted in Word of honor is because everyone thought it would flop(it had shit budget) but when he was given the script he really loved it & even decided to accept less pay coz he loved the story.
So i really hope he also read the script for this one & loved it since now thank God he has the luxury of choosing.
And i trust him so damn much.
(What im i even saying? Even if it turned out bad i would watch it for him & even rewatch?.)
But lets manifest that the script writer doesnt mess up. fingers crossed.
For the chemistry i trust Gong Jun. My boycan have chemistry with anything & anyone. He managed to have it with zhang zhehan the one people used to call the straightest hehe

I think its a very common trope in chinese dramas. Every protigonist in historical dramas is always looking for revenge for their family.
Even Gong Jun in Word of honor was revenging for his parents. Its hard to avoid. Lets just hope if theyre cast they have good chemistry & that the script is not shit. A goodscriot writer can turn a medicore novel into gold. But a bad script writer can tyrn a good novel into shit.
I will always support whatever Gong Jun is in however. No matter what or with who

Yes. It is extremely low budget. It used a budget of only 30 million. Investors pulled out due to covid.
Only wolong nuts remained. It invested 20 million on that 30 million.
Other upcoming bl dramas tripple it. Immortality has a 250M budget. Winner is king has a 150 M budget. They all have huge fanbases which will hype them no matter what so thats why i think they have huge budgets.
WOH had,almost no fans. Only 37 fans on weibo. So it was a predicted flop.
They had to cut the number of episodes. It was supposed to be 45.
Imagine a masterpiece it would really be if it had a decent budget? WOH is trully a darkhorse.
And its the only one who will get huge profits since they used litttle funds & the outcome was high.It deserves honestly.

Gong jun talks about money 24/7. How he has to pay his mortigage. Asking ZZH to make money together but zzh as usual burning him with "im already rich" Telling shippers to ship as long as theyre happy & he gets money.
He is just so endearing lol. I cant help but root for him to make that money haha

Yeah. Just like not everyone likes sexual scenes between opposite genders but theyre put in movies & dramas anyway. Homophobes can bear with that too or go cry harder.
Though i love the way these chinese bl adaptations show love between two characters that is intangible but very strong. They dont have to do any physical affection for it to be seen. Thats what makes them so good.

Please rate the hell out of this drama with 10/10 coz it deserves it. This past month has been the best for me coz of this drama.
I just wish i could forget all about it and again start afresh. I'm rewatching as of right now for the 3rd time.(the first episodes)
