FL never said that. there is scene when FL said to ML "after sealing Wanjun Sword, you seem to have turned gentler". They succeed in sealing Wanjun Sword, not died. And also, that's not reuse scene from eps 3-4, the place and conversation and the character is not the same. In eps 3-4 it's Zhaoyao and Mo Qing, but in final eps it's their daughter and son imitated them. I suggest you to rewatch again and pay more attention to the details so that you will not mislead yourself and others.
