I can agree with the check boxes forSYS but i think he is realizing that if he really loved her it would not have been a thought to cheat. He took her for granted and thought he could get one over on her by using his psych degree. I think he now knows he did love her ..but he thought since she loved him more ..he could cheat and she take him back

Hopefully next episode because SPY pointedly asked the stepmom what AMi said when SYS came in and bad mouthed her for getting remarried..and she said AMi did not say anything.. Take a look at her reaction..and when AMi called looking for the stepmom and asked what did she say. SPY snapped at her

Yes it became more evident when he continued to let AMi stay in the house, most likely until he was done with that relationship, or rather he was onboard with his stepmom plans to run AMi away., so she would call it quits. As he would not look like the bad guy. Manipulative yes very, as I stated before he always wanted someone to tell him to break up with AMi then he could say they could not be together because of that person. But SPY was not playing the game, AMi’s parents did not play the game either. Once she left, then he could go back, that is why he wanted her to stay single, because he was all for not telling JiA at first..he probably thought about it the first episode of letting her know, because he thought she would explode and kick AMi just like he stepmom wanted to happen
