I understand what you mean, it's a succession of events that sometimes brings more clues to an outcome, as if "destiny" were leading in a very uncertain way. As for the actors, I like them and I think the characters match, but at the same time I realize that they don't have such outstanding characteristics, such strong personalities... maybe that's why it doesn't seem so convincing!
The lack of plot logic in the last few episodes is driving me crazy. The FL has learned nothing since the beginning;…
One thing I didn't really understand about the plot is: - Caesar Wu goes to the banquet wearing the mask. When he is asked to remove it is Hongyi's scarred face. - The explanation is that makeup was done to look like the brother's face, with scars... but no one has ever seen the brother's face! - In fact, it wouldn't need to look like the brother's face (and doing that with makeup would be impossible). Wouldn't it be enough to cover Caesar's face until it was unrecognizable?
Did I read the subtitles wrong!!Did the ML female friend just tell FL that the guy is a virgin? It was hilarious…
The female friend told she was going to try to win him over, and the female lead said her to be careful because he dated a lot of women and even had a list... His friend said he is "celibate", meaning he doesn't date many women. It's not about virginity, she just meant that he's not a conqueror, as the female lead said...
ugh can they please get together already?when she was drunk in ep 13 i was really hoping she would end up talking…
I really don't understand, while he doesn't seem like the type of man who goes out with a lot of women, his friends keep saying things like "this time it's serious", and he even at one point says he's trying to change his habits . Anyway, he is always very good to her...
I just watched and I agree with your review, it was very well written. I loved the characters and the performances of Leon Lai and Liu Xue Yi (one of my favorite actors). About the protagonists, I think the actors performed well, within what was proposed, but I also felt that lacked passion, I thought the main characters could have stronger, more flashy personalities, in general they are calm and benevolent. The situations are desperate, but they are always very balanced, they don't despair, unlike TMoPB, Ashes of Love or Love and Redemption. I also think that the story became a bit repetitive with Hou Chi and Qing Mu, again they fall in love, one of them resists passion more, they go through several difficulties, and when they are about to be together something stops them and one of them dies. Anyway, in general it was good but it could have been more impactful.
I don't think you understand the ending... Lin Miao gets doubled. Lin Miao Jr. stays with the lawyer, the Lin Miao original goes back to the future. When Lin Miao meets Jiao Yang again, it's in the future. This means that he had to wait 10 years to find her, that's why the building project is ready, and being sold, the friends have already gotten married and had children. It's as if Lin Miao went back to the future, and immediately went looking for him. It's been a long time for him, not for her... and now they're the same age!
So you saw 4 episodes (each one 20 minutes), and think can write this lot of things about the drama! Oh, please... first isn't the same actor, second he isn't mediocre, he is very expressive... the story is good too. Try to see at least some episodes, before judge like this!
