I liked the individual characters. Except the female lead. She kept acting like a grandma while she was young. Maybe that means she will get an award for being able to act like a grandma, but it annoyed the hell out of me. It is also why this drama has such a low rating. She was really unlikable. I loved both the male leads and Ha Na. It just didn’t work out in the end. I never thought Du Ri and Daniel would work out. It didn’t sit right with me. I loved Mr Park. Young and old. She getting together with him would have been nice.
Her husband in a Virtuous business just said tgat she was almost 60 and it just annoyed the heck out of me because they really stretch people’s ages in K-dramas and I assumed she was around 50 because she has literally no wrinkles. Tgen I looked it up and saw that she was actually 57. Unbelievable
I just rewatched this and even though it was still kind of enjoyable, I can’t remember the FL being so selfish and annoying. She kept lying and lying to her child’s father, to her child. When she spoke there were just lies rolling out of her mouth. Also, she left a dying man on the side of the road. She was literally his reason for wanting to fight to live, but she just said awful things to him and left him by the side of the road in his dying state. And the reason doesn’t justify what she did. If I were him, it would take me forever to forgive her. I would have acted exactly the same way as ML.And How is it right for a woman to withhold a child from his dad? And this ‘it’s for your own good’ story?? What a frustration and annoyance. It was bad for everyone involved. This noble idiocy trope should really just disappear from all dramas. In the end I didn’t feel that I was invested in the main couple enough. So all in all it was just ok.
This is not a bad show, it's a really good one. Ik there's a but coming, I love how they cut the crap with the…
I watched both the Chinese version and this one and both are good. I have little complaints regarding the remake. I’m very glad they skipped the love triangle of Go Ahead.
a horror movie. i watched it knowing the ending, but what i didn't expect was to think the castration wasn't…
I saw the movie in a completely different light. To me, Lim was groomed into the king’s bed at a very young age and he didn’t know anything else. He was never given the opportunity to explore his own sexuality. Once given the chance, he realised he wasn’t gay and fell in love. The king was evil in my mind and deserved his end.
I really enjoyed it, I missed Isoo’s cheeky personality in the last three episodes. Glad he came back with a bang in the end and stayed with the unit. He did not suit chairman one bit
It's how I came to say how good the drama is and also read comments to know if everyone is enjoying the drama…
I’m also enjoying it so far and to be honest it annoys the s&&t out of me when people dig up random crap to diss a drama. I will just ignore mdl for this drama because I don’t have the patience to read through immature toxic nonsense.
