I have this feeling that the girlfriend was involved in the case. - them having sex - we saw the condom which he throws away - him leaving the house before her, after making breakfast - the fact that his semen was found on the dead body
If every scene is curated and holds a meaning, then she has to be involved. But I could completely wrong based on my previous experience. Scene are not as thought out as the viewers anticipate them to be. Nonetheless, excited for upcoming episodes.
I have a theory: what if the child is indeed minju’s (like some of you guys are speculating). Junik hid the identity of the child because he is working as a spy and know the consequences of his actions. He was afraid for the life of minju like we see in the dream sequence of ep 1 and also for his son’s life.
Only way to hid the identity was to make it seem like the child was never born. Also when the junik’s mother is packing, the mistress is no where to be found. So she could a hired care taker.
As for why the so called mistress was threatening minju, it could be because minju now has all the inheritance and the grandmother would have wanted it back by using the child.
This is the first time that I want the romance to take a backseat (back-backseat) because I am loving the food related scenes especially their reactions.
This was exactly my thoughts, it irks me when writers insult viewer's intelligence with plotlines like this. It…
I know right? This is just lazy writing. In the meeting which took place in ep 1, they tried so hard to show his knowledge and all. But he doesn’t even have his own personal savings or accounts. So irritating. I guess I have to turn my logic calculator off for this drama.
Is it a low budget production? I tried to watch the first episode and the editing is so choppy. Aussi, there is no continuation between the scenes and no flow, feels like a college level assignment.
I found this drama by accident and love the first episode . It was after a long time that I felt butterflies in my stomach from watching a show. I could feel her nervousness et awkwardness, kudos to the actress.
Her not having sex education, which I know is common for that era , made me think about the percentage of people who still do not receive proper sex education. Like many others, I too discovered things through internet even though I am only in my early twenties. It’s so sad that our education system shy away from talking in detail about such an important topic.
Enough rambling, I hope that it will continue to amaze me and without any tragic events which jdramas are famous for. Fingers crossed 🤞
I am going through a big slump and it’s been such a long time that I found an episode interesting enough to finish. So my fellow viewers, I have a million dollars question for you: Do you think this drama would be able to cure my slump based on the first episode alone?
The play in the third episode was mesmerizing. For some time, I forgot that it was a play inside a drama. 🎭 Now, I want to learn Korean and watch some theatre plays in real life.
Can anyone explain South Koreas ID numbering? They use it for humor a lot in shows and I'm curious what the joke…
That was just a witty way to say hey mister, maintain distance from my daughter. It is hard to explain the joke in words but it becomes clear after you understand how ID numbers are formed in Korea. It is 13 digits long, and looks something like this : yymmdd-sbbbbnc. First six digits are for birthdate and S (which is referred in the joke) is 1 if a male is born between 1900-1999. And I would assume that 70 - 80% of Korean males would have it 1. So if you are in a similar situation in the future, you could recycle this joke. 😂😂
