ZWY is a super talent!! Cang Xuan is one of my fav character in LYF and he really excel in the brooding, lovesick and tormented character like CX. Yep, you can't hate him but start to understand and sympathize with his character. ZWY is great in this drama as well.

Got it. Though, he didn't get the girl, he's so worth the praises for his role as Cang Xuan. CXZ barely scratch the surface of his potential as an actor. Cang Xuan definitely has more emotional depth and complexity. His aura as Emperor is even more prominent. Sigh...I need to see more of ZWY. 😥 Yeah, I went to watch some of his scenes in LYF.

Great review. 👍 This is so entertaining even with the flaws. ZWY is amazing and he made me love CXZ. As for WCR, she was ok as LMT. The script and her character kind a lost me in the second half. I thought the other couples were a bit forced but I really liked the Empress. I rated this 8.5 as well. See you around.

For CX, I'm glad ZWY took the challenge to do comedy. Yes, let's see what other roles he will do. I saw him in Fantastic Doctors as a genius doctor with Asperger's syndrome. He gave off the innocent vulnerable character.

Agreed! Zhang Wan Yi is so amazing in giving off that strong royalty aura. His role as CX in LYF is more compelling and complex than CXZ. Out of the 2 characters, CX is more memorable for me.
