Its true. I prefer a Love and Redemption over Ashes of Love. It's hard to not put my personal opinion in my own article. I tried my best in comparing the two dramas without any bias but yea it can't be helped. But, by no means am I trying to say that Ashes of Love wasn't good. Honestly, both dramas were flawed imo. I just shared my view :)

I dropped AoL after watching the first episode and went back to it after about a year. Honestly, I'd say just watch it. I liked it but not as much as I did when i was watching Love and Redemption. When I found it too draggy, I just put it a 2x speed and watched Ashes of Love

When I first tried watching Ashes of Love I dropped it at episode 1 but after watching Love and Redemption i decided to give it another chance. I resumed Ashes of Love about a year later. Both female leads were annoying but I really liked the friendship between the leads in Love and Redemption at the beginning.
