Well, I'd be lying if I said I am interested in all the office personnel problems.... But, Inukai Atsuhiro is cute AND funny, he proved that as "Mobu" (I kinda had to ignore his hair in this, but never mind). Let's watch the 5 minutes of each episode, where his character interacts with Hitomi (the Kotoko actress:), LOL
Okay, this managed to put me into sleep. COMPLETELY and uttterly uninterested in whatever happens in there, I'm dropping this after 5 epis. Season 2: Not Interested.
Okay episode 3 offers the GUYS's perspective and as much as this was needed to justify his unexplicable behavior the first 2 episodes, I still don't find his POV very believable. Okay, she was friendly, and helped him out with a work problem a couple of times. She's also unobtrusive and ordinary, make guy of his looks obsessed with her is very unlikely. Despite his long long inner monologue (not fan of these in dramas) I don't quite buy it that HE is so insecure. Last episode, she practically jumped around his neck. Other girl proposed herself to him. And that's just talking one small office. The guy sure has options. We know what that usually does to guys: but no, we'll have him literally shivering in worry whether he'll be liked by her or not. This looks like another fantasy tale for all the grey office mouses to believe that even after their average boyfriend they catered to for years dumps them, their nearest super goodlooking YOUNGER colleague will break his neck in trying to dry their tears.
Though I do agree that to see someone cry will help you realize your feelings to them very clearly. That's about the only good point in this episode. I wonder if her acting like an idiot right in front of him fazes him. Or is it actually invisible to him and it's just there for us viewers. Nevertheless, I'm devoid any romantic thrill in this one. Okay he wants her, she wants him (SHE is very obvious at that, sadly). Do I care that much whether they marry or not? Do I need to listen to their constant commentary 5 more times, before that happens?
Update after completing 1st episode and more than a half of the 2nd one: I don't know. I find the show veeeeeeeeeeeery long for some reason. I'm not into family dramas so all the mother-daughter/her mother-daughter scenes are exhausting me, I don't laugh even if I can tell they try for comedy. And I don't care which of the 2... 3... 4... or 7 men the nearly middle-aged woman chooses. DROPPED.
If this is not GL I'm bored at 7th episode already Park Morgan bores me to death And he looks feminine like all them koreans. She might as well date a real girl instead
It's really good and sensitively narrated story, the only problem is with Hayashi Kento. This guy has HUGE eyes and most of his facial expressions look strained to spastic. It's like he's grimacing, over-acting, even if he's not.
Okay, so one girl who was so far for strictly fun relations, now wants to properly date, but she tries to make that happen with one of her strictly fun guys. And one girl who was properly dating in the past, is now completely at ease with open relation, but her new guy keeps showing signs of someone interested in proper relationship. Both girls are Female Chases Male First types. So it's the more complicated...
Overall this show is very open, fun, and also short with no time for bullsh*t. Neither of the females is a clueless virgin, they both WANT satisfying sex life. They won't throw up on their ML after 1 drink and that's IT. They kiss the way people should kiss in every drama. The Opening keeps getting better & better... The song is great ( 'Love Me' by Rusha (루샤) .
I found the ending a bit sugar-coated for both couples. We can sense that it was hardly unlikely for a man so popular to wait for one girl to be ready and we don't know what caused the doctor's turning around, at all. We need to assume that he was in the casual sex thing for a reason. Why should he stop? We don't know. We don't know enough about the guy. But what can you do when you want to end on a high note and you have a little runtime left. All in all it was enjoyable. I can forgive all flaws for the ENORMOUSLY cute, SPECIAL smile of Ahn Hee Yeon;-)
These "influencer female/male lead" dramas... As if it's not boring enough to live life through the internet, we now watch dramas about people living through the internet too, LOL.
