I didn't think I would like this drama or even finish it at all. I thought I wouldn't feel any chemistry between the leads, and the story would be the same as other xianxia dramas, but I can say I'm surprised how wrong I was. If you're tired of watching xianxia with the same cliche stories and want something different, I recommend watching this. You may need some patience watching the first few episodes, and some patience for questions to get answered, but it's worth it.

I actually remember him saying that his character in Arsenal Military Academy was challenging because his previous dramas were quite similar in which his characters were nice, quiet, and very sweet while his character in ASA was very naughty and playful.

I actually completely understand where you're coming from, the nickname seems very offensive especially when it's translated to "fatty" but the nickname "胖子/pang zi/ fatty“ really isn't offensive in chinese. It's really commonly used to address best or close friends.
