Wrong question!!! cuz haoyan is not more popular. I explained how Weibo ranks are already. And I HAD to explain it cuz a comment said haoyan is more popular in China just by some CP supertopic rank. Sadly no. Will just tell u how supertopic rankings work.
Ge-sun supertopic has more followers than Haoyan so ge-sun is more popular. CP rank is higher cuz each of haoyan followers posts more posts than gesun followers. A good example will be how Jackie Chan doesn’t need to rank higher in Weibo ranks to prove he is more popular than a fresh BL star.
Liu yuning is a singer and has a massive active fanbase cuz his supertopic posts (he has over 2 million supertopic followers) are more in number than dilireba’s (she has over 10 million supertopic followers)

I hate fan wars and I really am enjoying the drama. Fact is you already can’t see ge-sun fans downgrading haoyan here. May be someones can’t stand the praises? They hardly say any bad things except how ge-sun chemistry is like a drug. And It’s not like we don’t see what’s happening on Weibo. We just don’t wanna bring fan wars to this MDL. Really? In weibo, haoyan is being jealous by gesun? Do I really need to bring the whole true story HERE? Whose fans even gave one star to this drama just cuz their bias is not first lead and such and a lot of a lof of melons & trendings and such.. we were so peaceful here, man. No, we dun need to live with being haoyan more popular cuz haoyan is not more popular. I explained how Weibo ranks are already. Yeah.. I don’t see any ge-sun fans downgrading Haoyan. And haoyan fans were also peaceful. Suddenly, since like 2-3 days ago, comments popped up again like those days when TLB started airing and they be judging how DLRB face is shrunk and looks old, Wu Lei looks like a servant and his brows look like he smelled bad cheese or smth.. how they can’t help but fall for 2nd leads (while their drama lists show they are fans of 2nd leads) etc.. now that DLRB and Wu lei had proved everyone how great their amazing chemistry is and well.. some people came back being jealous. Can’t help it they the main leads. They being praised and celebrated literally everywhere.

Umm.. ge-sun is still more popular in China than hao-yan cuz just compare the followers of their super topics. Ge-sun has more followers but haoyan rank is higher cuz each of haoyan super topic follower posts more posts than one ge-Sun’s follower.
That’s the way supertopic ranks work.
