Title Falling into Your Smile Spoiler
idk i try to watch this as everyone seems to like it and all the hype. i watched this till eps 6 and idk it felt…
The strory is slowly developing, it gets better with each episode. Actually it's a positive point for me because I lose the interest in many dramas when they start from the peak and try to drag the story for the rest of the episodes. But if you didn't notice the progress and didn't feel their chemistry by now idk.🤔 Everyone is loving the drama mainly because of their chemistry. Maybe you have a different taste. I can't ask you to continue in that case. The characters have been developped according to the novel, Lu Sicheng has a expressionless face and looks cold from outside but when it comes to the latter part with his relationship with TY and things he becomes more open. I can't explain everything for the Lu Sicheng's part, his character development is a part of the story itself. TY is supposed to be like her, cute, shy, childish and a little boyish. I accept your point about her facial expressions bdw. Some people expect more than that. I was satisfied because she fits with the character and anyway I liked whatever she did. She is lovely^^ I can't dislike her. I can't assure you about TY if you already dislike the character. Mmm as I said you may have a different taste, if you are open to the nature of those characters you can try some more episodes, the story gets better in its aspect. :)

previously i had decided not to watch this show but wow 8.7!! its that good!?one question... is the gaming part…
I will add something to the 2nd reply. The gaming part is obviously not a tool for the romance, it's just that the show has a sweet romance and it's a comedy so it's impossible to go with heavy gaming scenes. They have given a lot of screen time for competitions too. And there were animations to highlight the main parts of game in competitions. It was a positive point for me. Actually I was not watching it for E-sports but I was never bored with it. It was interesting and exciting to watch the gaming scenes. But some people are expecting this to be like another Cross Fire though it's obvious that FIYS is different at the first glance. I find it quite unfair for the show to be compared with Cross Fire. You will like it if you don't compare it with something like CF and ofc if you're not someone who hate sweet romance. Some people despise the drama just because they have a different taste. For me it's a well balanced drama, I think it's mainly focused on the life of professional players even more than E-sports and romance.

I do get it that you don't understand the 8.7 but it's obviously not because of Xu Kai. It's ratings started from…
Well you were the one who said you don't understand 8.7 and yes, it's true. So don't criticize what you don't understand bc the majority do understand. What I meant by the ratings was it has come up by 0.6 which rarely happen in MDL. How is it possible for Xu Kai be the reason, what about his other dramas then. I already said that I was not here for the E-sports so what's wrong, I'm here for the romance and background story. You see the genres are romance, comedy, life and youth. That's wt I was expecting and I'm totally satisfied. And go ahead and watch all of amazing dramas and criticize, I will keep in mind that there are ppl like you in MDL comments and I won't miss any good drama or get a bad opinion before watching them.

The first few episodes threw me off. Nothing like an esports drama. Esports aspect was really poorly done with…
I do get it that you don't understand the 8.7 but it's obviously not because of Xu Kai. It's ratings started from 8.1 and now it's 8.7! So many ppl are loving this drama specially the romance. It was not even near boring for me, if it was then only the first episode but the drama got better with each episode. Honestly I was losing the interest in 8th/9th episode but it came back multiplied by several time in the next episodes. It was the best modern rom-com Cdrama for me. Maybe it's bc I was not here for the E-sports aspect but after watching it I was interested and I even read the novel to understand more about the game. Characters were unique & fascinating even the side couple captured my interest. This drama actually has a lot of good points to notice which most of other Cdramas are lacking. I love everything about this drama. It's fine if you dislike it but atleast don't criticise wt you don't understand.

Only haters will say that this drama is not good. It’s 2021 so pls be kind to urself and don’t collect hate,…
Cheng Xiao was my center of attraction too. Let's not care about what they say. They'll never enjoy the drama like we did;) I mean some people just don't like the character so they let it all out on her acting skills. Here she had to be childish and shy but keep it balanced with her role.( Personally too much expressions make me uncomfortable and overreacting FLs annoy me most of the time.) She is different and I like the way she did her role. She is just perfect for Tong Yao's character. For some sort of a serious role she might need improvement. Let's see how she will do in her future projects. I'm also interested in her after this one.

This one is first negative comment I saw after entering FIYS 😂. I think you don't like it's okay. I totally…
Same! It was the first negative comment I saw here. Usually there is so much hate in MDL comments for any kind of a drama, but I was enjoying the peace here for the first time bc of FIYS and the comments were so relatable. Everyone was obsessed with it as much as me. I have high standards after watching it! idk what to watch next. I didn't find anything wrong with FL's acting either (it must be just me, but fine💁🏼‍♀️) I read the novel too, in my opinion it's just the nature of her character. I can't imagine someone better than her for Tong Yao's character. I haven't watched her previous dramas so I didn't have any opinion about the actress either. Anyway I like EVERYTHING about this drama. It will be one of my all time favourites😊

I'm really happy to see someone enjoying this drama!! It is one of the best for me. Therefore I was heartbroken when I comment. Two of us have two different experiences about this comment section and the drama. It's hard to understand each other. I didn't expect someone from the middle of the series. That's where my mistake happened. Again I'm sorry if I have ruined your joy.

My negative point was the same as yours and I had few more. I won't ruin anything again and I'll let you decide instead. I appreciate your way of thinking and understanding about drama. Hope you'll enjoy it until the end.

First of all my comment was for someone who was a victim in this comment section like me, before watching it. For someone like you, those negative comments might help. You should have read them before starting to watch it. The truth is, all of you just don't want to accept that ending. So you are trying to compensate your disappointment out of my comment. I already apologized for revealing the ending but I thought it was the best thing to do in THIS comment section.(actually part of it is your own problem to read it all if you don't want to know the final scene when I have mentioned about the last minutes of last episode.)Anyway I already marked it as a spoiler for anyone else like you. From my experience I thought the reality will help someone to decide whether this drama is good for their taste or not, rather than being mislead by other comments. And obviously it's not only a warning about the ending, I wanted to explain my openion at the same time. Someone who can't accept that ending wouldn't watch it. Someone who can accept it won't be mislead by other comments. People are different. Everyone is not like you. My comment might help someone. I thought well before writing it. No-one can get a clear picture about the ending by my comment, it gives only a rough idea. Actually it was my own experience too. I was expecting that ending(something even worse). So I could accept it. Therefore I enjoyed the drama and I loved it. And the last thing is anyone who always expects perfection + perfect endings can't enjoy this drama. It's a fact, it's better to avoid it. For me, it was exciting from the beginning to the end, the ending is not perfect but fair.

I'm sorry if the content of my comment stopped you from watching this drama. Actually it's the complete opposite from what I wanted. Although I marked it as a spoiler, compared to more than 80% of other comments it gives you reasons to watch this drama. Those comments are the real spoilers. You'll only understand if you watched it after reading only those comments. Actually it's better if you can expect & accept that ending bfr starting to watch it. So if you are going to watch this drama after reading my comment I highly recomment it, you wouldn't be dissapointed.

I just finished the drama. I'm really dissapointed about the comments. I was expecting the worst when I started to watch it after reading comments. But it was getting more and more exciting with each and every episode. It's really a well balanced drama and it holds a great story. But it needs a certain level of maturity and understanding to enjoy this drama. Most of the comments prove that they are judging the story without even finishing the series(at least half of episodes).I can't understand this logic.
From the begining to end it was not clear for me where the story was leading the characters, but at the last few minutes I felt like everything happened so far now make a sense, the begining makes a sense. After all xhinzha road and the people lived there was wu qian's life. The ending is not a 'happy' ending but it was not heart breaking for me. If everything was perfect, there wouldn't be such a story from the begining to the end anyway.
At the very last minutes of final episode when wu qian opens the door expecting the death alone, it was so heart melting to see all his loved ones, xiaoxiao,da chui and mom,and hong yi standing in front of him with a smile on their faces reassuring that he is not alone. Xhinzha road and the people lived there was their life.Without them even I can't imagine a 'happy ever after' ending.
How can anyone blame on the ending saying it is not the ending? (if they understood the story)Isn't it the most acceptable, realistic ending for that story? For the purpose of wuqian's life, to win the hardest opponent, he had to choose between life and death. Does that mean he lost? After all the things he encountered in life even though he was alive in the end it is impossible to have the life that was in wu qian's dream. So didn't he face the death with pride and without regrets? (I remember hong yi's words )
Such a great drama has been spoiled here with comments. I can't really understand why there is so much critisism. I feel bad for the people who decided not to watch it because of comments.
