His fans won’t get mad at any of Wu lei’s decisions. He just chose to debut his first kiss on the big screen in the movie upcoming summer (where people had to actually pay to watch his first kiss in cinemas). He n his team had already decided to do so and the long ballad is an unexpected surprise gift for Wu lei after that plan. So i think he chose not to kiss in the long ballad cuz tlb is an online drama and we couldn’t know if it will air before or after his big screen movie.
The low MDL rating (due to some people who rated low cuz there is boy-girl romance) when this never was known as a BL drama.
Meanwhile on douban (the scary Chinese version of MDL where ppl don’t easily rate high) this show opens with an 8.6 ⭐️. We can say a show is good even if it passes 6.5 on douban.
Just cuz u saw comments there is romance, pls don’t rate this show a low score. ☹️ They never said there will be bromance (the kind which is popular nowadays) between leo & Neo. This show deserves much higher score than average dramas out there. U can never rate this show low if u actually watch tbh.

Our times is a healing drama for me. Xie hang in ep 13 is like seeing my old self omg. All the characters are so close to real life. I might put our times above cross fire in my ranking list of Wu lei dramas soon.. :O
