I know I'm only on Ep 22 but why does it feel like this drama focused more on Lu Ming & Fan Xing than with Yuan…
You are absolutely correct. I finished the drama with the help of the fast forward button. If you are only interested in the lead pair and not secondary pairs; and if you are watching the drama for it's story and not the cast, then skip the episodes and simply watch episode 40 and 41. (But if you get curious about details regarding side characters, please watch episodes by skipping scenes. Because the FM and SML arc is extremely unconvincing and a super drag. It's like the writers had a bias for the SML!)
Hope this helps save your precious time. Also IMO, and just as a heads-up, the relationship buildup/development between the FL and ML is almost non-existent.
Hello, does anyone really feel something when they watch the leads being together? Any emotion? Me, rien, nada,…
It's sort-of like a slow-burn romance. We often see dramas with forced physical contact or too convenient coincidental kisses. These are two 29year old mature people. Plus, Yu Tu had already rejected her once. If I were in her place, I'd also not rush to show emotions too soon either. But like the prior comment mentioned, it changes soon so don't give up! The romance is slow yes, but it's a grounded kind of romance.
What episode is that? I finished this a long time ago so Ive forgotten. ikr i dislike seeing FLs slap MLs... if…
It's episode 30, when YS returned after being undercover, and JJ was upset about it, that he didn't have enough faith in her that she would want to help him and protect him too. Though, I agree with her and I'd feel upset as well, but just that the slap was unnecessary is what I feel. And, I agree with what you said too. I've seen this in another drama as well, and find it unfair to MLs. They deserve our Love AND respect. ^_^
I am loving this drama. I think the ML and FL are fabulous - their relationship is so romantic - slowly developing…
Yeah, sometimes slow burns are good too but I guess a lot of us have started to expect fast paced romances more so slow doesn't feel enjoyable to many.
Also, ShiYi has high walls and is usually very guarded so I think she's talking slower to act on her love but has fallen for him for quite some time now.
I think the way Lingyi tells off Shiyi is spot on and so well deserved. That said, she didn't stab him on purpose,…
I think she's being insensible and lame since it involves her mother. She's very close to her, so I think that clouded her judgement. We see all that in a span of 2 episodes so I guess it's too fast for her to process. But indeed, it's frustrating to watch.
(but she does realize it later on and tries very hard to be forgiven, which is refreshing to see since most FLs I've seen just pout and leave the house, too egoistic and proud to apologize.)
A lot of things are great about this drama, but I am against male leads being slapped by female leads. Shoved a little? Okay. But slapping them??!?! ... :(
No, it's not just you. Bian Jiang dubbed both characters. He's one of the most famous voice actors in China and…
Oh! Thank you for the reply. ^_^This will take some time getting used to. But, now that I know, I can recall various other dramas with same voices. Thanks again! :)
