if this was a C-drama, it would have 40 episodes and all the loose ends would have tied up nicely. every character would have got a proper backstory, explaination. palace politics would be covered too. more importantly the romance, marriage and chemistry would have gotten enough screen time.

they should have established him properly as a villain. why would he go to the extent of killing IAN.. whom he did consider good friend (ep1 their talk shows they rely on each other). also how and when he fell for IU, why is wearing the rosary on his hand. none explained.
Overall it was a really good show, and a nice watch. I am kind of disappointed with how a few of the mystery plotlines…

it started so well, I was hooked. Then they just started to rush the show and the plot went haywire. IU and BWS have a massive fan following that is helping the show and its ratings.
