yeah i was going through the book again for this, had to check it too.. in the book it is stated that she was 2002 in the hospital (because of her grandma) and she was there in her 3 year of junior high so it should be right i guess..

is basically like this. They get to a safety Zone expect someone who is mutatet. They meet at the rooftop again of there school building, the mutatet talked to them that they(other mutatet ) try to catch these people who are also mutatet who run away from school. mutatet jumps of the building.
