I totally see your point too, but it felt stretch for me. Like an enforced plot "situation". And that's my issue with the second half of the drama. I feel like I can hear the writers saying, "we need to put some challenges, what can we throw at them ?" didn't always feel natural to me. But I did enjoy the show for sure !! It's a good drama overall.
I'm pretty sure he didn't say that he only wanted Cong Rong, he said that she might be a swindler and he would give the footage only if they meet, but he didn't that he would only meet her. And for the part where he was leaving for a business trip, someone else can still meet him.
Oh I swear they need to give this man a true main role. His emotional scenes in Legend of Yun Xi was so touching! My heart is still sore when I think of WenYou in Moon Brightens for You!
The type of drama you start watching thinking "oh, I'm probably not gonna like it, the lead is not so hot ..." and you end up crying and smilling all along. Ni Ni is a discovery for me! She's not just one of the prettiest actress in dramaland, but she's such a GOOD actress!! I was really touched by her character and the way she plays her part is so natural and touching. A beautiful discovery for me!

Every time I look at her I remember that Melting me softly fiasco.... after that drama I can't even watch my favorite…
It's exactly the same for me! Ji Cang Wook is one of my favorite actors and in Melting me softly their alchemy was so bad that I have a hard time watching him too now. And he is knowed to have great alchemy with every actress he's paired with.
And here I'm hesitating to watch this drama bcz of rowoon. I don't find his acting natural. Just my opinion.
