not being old fashioned or whatever but I’m not mad about people complaining about the sex scenes in this show.…
TV kdramas are "chaste" because they have tv censorship, nothing to do with Asian or Western culture. Go watch some Korean movies, read some manwha and see what Koreans have been doing without censorship.
I haven't watched "The legend of Zhuohua" but I had to fast forward the last episodes. It's a hot mess. I'm surprised…
The FL wanted the ML to become crown prince and pushed him to do that, but when the consequences of him being crown prince come around, she doesn't like them. She's been established as a good warrior and a strategist, what did she think that was going to happen? That he was going to be free to do as he liked (with a father that is well known as incompetent at that)?
Why are the Jeshuo people helping Liu Chanfeng when he's a guy who has no power at all? Following Gu makes sense, but they lost a lot of men helping Liu Chanfeng nonsensical plots.
Why does the father suddenly becomes insightful? He's been a fool for 39 episodes and in the 40th he realises his mistakes? Just because the writers wanted a happy ending?

The villains are not good (though they do get on your nerves), the pacing slows down in the latest episodes (using a lot of reused footage), the leads have nonsensical decisions (let's say in the second part, since I don't want to spoil anything, and they do/say things that contradict what they wanted previously. The leads have good chemistry if that's what you're interested in.
The hate is overblown yes, but for people who are not fans of the group, they need to sell the show to them. So…
Lyons who have never watched a kbl are the ones hating it (because they expected Semantic Error) and fearing that bl watchers who would enter the fandom. kbl watchers know what to expect from this type of production and they're not taking it seriously.
You've never watched a kbl, have you? Most of them (there are very few exceptions) are low budget because there…
Those are high budget kbls (for the genre). You could even say BUB is high budget with a boat and all! Have you watched Tinted with love or similar kbls where sometimes they don't even have budget for a decent sound production of even extras? Those are your 15 minutes low budget kbls. And I'm in need of recs, in those kdramas which ones end up with happy gay couples? (because I don't remember seeing the lesbian couple together in homecha, even if technically they are), and in the others I've watched from your list the gay character ends up alone.
bros shot the trailer on a phone and edited it on imovie 💀
You've never watched a kbl, have you? Most of them (there are very few exceptions) are low budget because there are very few investors willing to put their money in projects that depict hay people. Look at mainstream kdramas how many happy gay people have you watched? They're murderers and they usually end up dead or alone. You guys were expecting something very different from what Korea had to order currently.
Society calls them roommates, friends, comrades and besties They were lovers
Not when you're using the Bury the gays trope. I'm tired of the lack of positive representation in kdrama. Someone always end up deaf or they're murderers.
