they did you mightve seen the joker in the end who is resposnible for transporting souls from the world to the afterlife it was his idea to give these peeps a chance and bring them to borderland
I shouldve known ending was going crappy when writers couldnt even give a proper storyline for romance here there were so many emotionally scenes which were supposed to be emotional but the only time i felt sentiments taking over me was grandpa's death and it was probably because of actors expressions. Good cinematography and wattpad writers do better without fame.....

There was a summary of the ending somewhere in novelupdate forum. It was so detailed and talked about the relationship between Grandpa and DJ. It also mentioned the ending, which was far better with no dream sequences and stuff like that. No loopholes of HW being at the same alternate reality, coz he wasn't there, there was a daughter instead of him. So, DJ got married, have kid and take over Sunyang, and went to visit the place where he was shot. I think i recall that the culprits of his shooting were his 2 cousins, and his cousin was jailed for some crime. Anyway, most of the opinions about the novel say that it's so focused and to the point with no side stories or nonsense talks.. So, no loopholes all written over it like the drama
Of course the daughter had to be the most incompetent of the three(four).
Old times~ its just the men putting down the daughter all the time making it look like she the only incompetent AS @ReverseHaremQueen said.... they all incompetent except the oldest grandkid tbh
