Bingyan the most natural original beauty of chinese people...The most suitable to act in custome drama..I've watch The Mystic Nine and really love her there, She's really beautiful pairing with zhang yixing..Will watch Listening Snow Tower after this..I didn't even bother about chengyi..The only reason i watch chengyi drama if bingyan is his partner..if no, my apologize to him..

your first paragraph really told how i felt too..i love xianxia dramas but most of it have almost similarity in term of quality that makes me doesn't have high expectation on L&R.. i thought L&R would be like other xianxia drama..low budget production, awful acting, awful storyline for support role, cartoon like CGI, dragging story, boring at some point, predictable..just name all the bad side..i have it all in mind when try to watch xianxia drama..

What attract me the most to watch xianxia drama was only the overall storyline..the short synopsis provided. That all, so most xianxia drama i watched, fast forward is a must or i will just watch the start, centre and end scene which only take me 1 day to finish..

So we can say, only L&R make me stay and watch the whole 59 episode and want more. Even korean drama that are only 10-20 episode doesn't give me the same vibe i felt when finish watching L&R...

For most people, it is ChengYi after effect but for me, SiFeng after effect. I still see ChengYi is Sifeng and Sifeng is ChengYi, when actually they are 2 different person..Why it's hard to split them!!!!..So easy to do that on Crystal yuan, Xuanji is Xuanji and Crystal yuan is Crystal yuan..Poor ChengYi..for me, if i love his great acting as Sifeng, then it's never a problem to watch his other drama because i see him as he is not his role in drama..So i guess i love his role as Sifeng not he is as ChengYi..

Yes, so painful to know it should be 77 episode but reduce to 66 then reduce again to 59 :(..then i was like, WHAT!!!.. I NEED MORE.. especially when sifeng didn't give up when xuanji become luohuojidu.. And when xuanji comeback for a shortwhile.. So satisfying to see sifeng reconcile back with xuanji at that time after lied by luahuojidu twice :(...seeing him not give up.. It's just WAH!!!.. just like when xuanji not giving up with him..just WAH!!!..speechless..

Me too, i was tempted to watch L&R because of the trailer that says they have been together for 9 lives but end with sifeng death.. The tenth was xuanji as human and sifeng is demon where they are natural enemies, will they be happy at the tenth life or end with sifeng death like previous 9 lives ?.. This storyline attract me.. So i go for it.. Never thought the romance would be a lot, my expectation was more fighting than romance but i was wrong, the fighting comes with romance, it's balance.. Besides i was looking for something similar with ashes of love.. Heavenly, demon kind of thing heeeee.. But ashes of love not so much romance compare to L&R.. So downgrade to second place, L&R first..

i know what you concerning about..but the misunderstanding in this drama faster resolve..doesn't drag long..and the solution of every misunderstanding very satisfying..even there are some just left hanging but next action after also very satisfying, you will not dissappointed..PLUS both main lead always together..in every episode including episode that have a lot of misunderstanding..no love triangle because both main lead really love each other..there are some point where female lead unwillingly agree to marry her senior (only 1 episode for this part) but her love toward male lead cause the senior to retreat himself..RECOMMENDED 100%..WATCH IT..
