It's Like Eating a Nothing Burger
One can call this BL series cute, soft, and slightly entertaining. A nice entertainment escape story. Not deep of course, and not very memorable but nice for the moment. Its story is simple, basic, and frankly, boring. A couple of distractions made this series less impactful for me. Frankly I did not understand the point of this series. It is barely romantic. The kissing scenes were insulting, and obviously badly rehearsed. What distracted me from this series are two things. This series has no depth to its story or its characters. Secondly, we have yet another example of a BL series unwilling to commit itself to showing ‘love’.Was this review helpful to you?
Three love stories but only one is impactful
I do not know what drew me to watch this series. Perhaps it was the synopsis of three gay couples featured and frankly this series was a bit under the radar. But I am glad I watched it. Certainly, this series was a mixed bag both in terms of emotions and story content. It matured and seasoned well towards the end except for one major flaw. Its editing left a lot to be desired. The story jumped and ebbed and flowed without a lot of consistency especially in its time jumps. The story became very uneven then. The love story between Dome and Vee is the one worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
Enjoyable, but don't know why
In a weird way, I enjoyed watching this series. It never gets deep. The plot is tropey and you feel like you are watching a Thai BL rather than Korean. Yet it is fun to watch. The subject matter was creative but they did not explore it enough. The actors seemed to have a better sense of who their characters were when they fought; but when they were not, the lines felt like they were merely reading them. Did not see a whole lot of chemistry between them. That might be due to a pretty standard script. If there is a Season 2, I hope they get deeper into who these two characters are on a deeper level. Was this review helpful to you?
A soft, wistful love story
I realized I was watching this series only seeing my perspective and frankly from my age. I had forgotten what it was like to be young, innocent, and seeing the world as a beautiful challenge to enjoy. More importantly, I forgot to just enjoy being in the moment and not worry about the future. That is what this beautiful short series is. If you do not ponder and reflect, drink in its beauty, you will miss its meaning especially in the now. Indeed, I am sure this is a series not for everyone. But for a moment, brief as it was, I was transposed to being young again and now understood. Oh, this series is so beautiful in a soft, gentle unassuming way that if you celebrate its insight, you will relive the innocence of youth. Was this review helpful to you?
A prosaic story about love
This is a bit of an unusual BL story that frankly I am not sure that I 'got' it. That does not make it bad; just a bit confusing. It is like watching Romeo and Juliet minus the death scene of course. They speak not as teenage boys but like they are performing in a theater-in-the-round. It is a rather enjoyable series to watch as it is so different even if I did not quite understand it. I was perplexed by it all yet completely taken in by the charm and oddly soft passion with each other. As I watched this series, I felt inexplicably somber. You can review my complete thoughts on this series at BLBliss.com.

It's the supporting roles that steal this series
Honestly, I found nothing dynamic about Earth and Mix's performances and they do not steal this series. They have done this before. Who steals this series is Fourth and Gemini. They are so solid and believable and I want them to have a whole series on just their incredibly real relationship. Unfortunately, this series went off into inane and empty directions that it did not need to do. Only for the sake of theatrics and not story telling. Also First did an incredible job in playing a rather small part but did so with complete conviction. He added quite a dimension to that role so kudos! Was this review helpful to you?
One of the Best
This rather short BL series is one of the best out there for the year 2023. It is a continuation of Season 1. And in reality, it reaches its own level of exceptionalism. It is an astonishing story of love unique to those two individuals . I like to describe it as a journey through toxicity down a road to enlightenment. It is unabashedly different and unique and may not be understood by all. It does not present love in the conventional sense of the word and that is what gives it its uniqueness.See my full review at BLBliss.com

Honestly, I liked it
This is a rather refreshing Thai BL and I liked it even though it got a lot of less than complimentary reviews. Why? Because it breaks the mold of Thai BL stories. This one tells its story through honesty and communicating with each other. Not through obfuscation, misunderstanding, misinterpretations and assumptions. This is who they were with flaws and these are my flaws. I thought the premise was interesting. One character was gay while the other was not sure and did not fully understand his feelings. Admittedly, he was unorthodox and difficult to be around and had quirky ideocracies. He wanted to 'see' him and all his faults. Very refreshing for a change! A rather enjoyable series, actually. Was this review helpful to you?
A Brilliant Series But....
This astonishing and brilliant series was so refreshing to watch and was one of the most thought-provoking series I have ever seen. It is a cacophony of every imaginable social ill, bias, and societal message one could think of. And all of it was dealt with a sense of maturity, honesty, and painful growing up stages to go through. However, where it fell flat was the ending. That was so disappointing and did not fit the overall theme of this series. In addition, it did not tackle a major issue that which became glossed over. Was this review helpful to you?
It is a remarkable and surprisingly good series about love
It is in so many ways a soft, impressible BL series with its end message literally taking off like wildfire. It is an astonishing and extraordinarily good series about love. But told deeply reflectively and more so without words than with words. The series is more abstruse than the storyline because of the complexities of the main characters. The acting is simply superb. They underplay the roles yet bring such an underlying tone of sincerity to them. Both are misfits. Both are passionate, sincere, honorable, and dedicated. Both easily get wounded and without a doubt wear their emotions on their sleeves yet try to pretend they are not there. They speak volumes by what they do not say.

A story that is uneven
This BL series is all over the map, literally. It centered yet again around soul-swapping which is close to becoming a trope. It is also filled with a bunch of down-right awful people. Some even malicious and bordering on murderous. There is also a saint or two and at least one abuser who then sees the errors of his ways. The story is quiet but uneven and becomes a bit cliché. It has some good moments of self-discovery though. The one other thing that was exacerbating was the unnecessary need to make communication so obtuse. Why can't you say what you mean? Entertaining enough overall though. Was this review helpful to you?
A Romp Through Boredom
For me, this was a disappointing side story from UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. That was one of my favorite BLs ever and so it is hard to recapture any magic from that series. There were a few references to it but it is essentially a story that stands on its own. It started out well but then droned on and on into just another Thai BL series. There were some good acting in this series and the whole issue of guilt for perhaps contributing to an accident was handled with sensitivity. That was a painful chapter in anyone's life. Manow steals this series and I just adored her characterizations. Sure, she is sometimes over the top but that who Manow is and good for her. These long belabored recountings in Thai BLs to show love is really getting old. This same theme has been done over and over. Was this review helpful to you?
Just Missed Being Memorable
There is such a natural rhythm to this series, and I have to admit that all the performers were top notch. I applaud their level of comfort in showing us the love scenes with naturalness and intensity. They were not afraid to show us that they were in love, and I felt like they meant it. This is a remarkably impactful series that just missed being profoundly memorable. We needed to see, feel, and know the pain of being raped, physically abused and psychologically tortured from an early onset so we could feel it on a deeper level. Do not be afraid to take it one step further. There was a deeper message here. Show it all. But I applaud this series for the progress that has been made. I was deeply moved. I sobbed a lot in the last episode of this series. Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting Premise but Felt Rushed
It is hard to dislike this cute but rather short series. It absolutely is all fluff with very stilted love scenes. But there is something enticing about the story. I am, admittedly, a sucker for continuing love stories reincarnated from the past if you will. And this is one of those stories. There is an odd mixture of characters in here that make it entertaining for sure and had it been longer, they could have expanded on the story and made these characters more interesting and entertaining. Interestingly when it reverts to the past, it becomes a way more interesting story and better acted. Was this review helpful to you?
Exceptional and Phenomenal
Sometimes, something comes along that completely moves you to rethink your life. And this is one of these programs that gets you to do that. It is an exceptional BL series that has a cast of characters that make you want to believe in love again. It is almost Shakespearean in design and forces you to think about your own mortality. Not all of the cast of characters are good but this series forces you to redefine how you might see 'bad' people. The story seems mundane in the beginning but it goes to new heights and its journey to the end is so real. Yet, it ends in love.Read my full review of this marvelous series at BLBliss.com.
