The story captured me from the beginning
This BL series has gotten some bad reviews. I thought it was brilliant. Its message was perhaps lost in the way the story unfolded. That is too bad because its message and meaning is quite significant. For sure, this story twists and turns in sometimes strange ways and does not smoothly transition from beginning to end. But if you understand the intent behind it, it is quite an impactful and moving story. Remember, this is yet another never-ending Thai BL about high school boys. But with this one, I took the time to see it from the perspective of a Thai teenage boy. And guess what? It is messy, uneven, illogical, immature, and chaotic. Just like a teenage boy IS. This was one of the few times that I thought these endless school BLs finally captured the essence of a teenage boy. Silly, impressionable, vulnerable, passionately committed, searching for truth, making mistakes, failing, and falling deeply and hard in love. Have we forgotten? Was this review helpful to you?
Full of moral character and direction
This BL series tackled a usually taboo subject and that was a May-December relationship. And it handled it with distinction and moral fiber. Not once was there any impropriety and while the temptations were there, the adult did not give in. So many people misunderstood his decision making as indecisive but I completely disagree. Minato always weighted the consequences of his actions against the effects on the other person. I found that refreshing and showed he was moral and upstanding. A good story filled with ethical behaviors. It also has a cast of characters who are quite quirky and I found them to be very entertaining. Was this review helpful to you?
It Fills You With A Sense of Warmth
This is not an earthshattering BL series but there is just enough cuteness and warmth in it to make you feel good. Like a blanket on a cold winter's night. The story, despite the logical holes, is told well and the acting is surprisingly good. Look, I know it is a fantasy, but some logic has to be applied and a more realistic reaction to what is happening should be part of the story as well. Too much of that was glossed over. None of that, however, negates the entertainment of this series. Honestly, who would not want their childhood dog or cat pets come back looking like these guys? It is just a fun series to watch. Was this review helpful to you?
A Very Adult Series
This series is an adult-oriented story so if you are easily offended, perhaps this is not the series for you. It is a romp through a deep dark secret fantasy with feelings ranging from revulsion to secretive salaciousness. It is a forthright LGBTQ series tackling forbidden subject matters. I think with a bit more tightness to the script, less theatrics, and a more honest portrayal of the real story here, this series could have gone down in the annals as a pivotal series of seeing human sexuality, desires, and fantasies in a whole new light. It is a great series that just falls short of being superb.Read my full review of this amazing series at BLBliss.com.

Greater than a 10! Kudos!
This is an exceptional and phenomenal series that is not only riveting, but thought provoking, sensitive, and portrays the life of someone on the Autistic Spectrum with precision. Having worked in this field for decades, I was impressed with its accuracy. The story telling is unique and beautifully told. The characters are so noteworthy but in every sense of the word, absolutely relatable. This is must-see viewing Each story can stand on its own yet they are all a part of an entire picture. The warmth and growth each character displays, albeit on their own individual terms, is a thing of beauty to watch. You honestly care about these individuals and you want them to be themselves and accept the faults and short-comings of each other. That really is their story. This series is a masterclass in showing what humans really are. Flawed. Imperfect. Weak. Yet, capable of caring and loving each other on so many different levels despite the shortcomings. Kudos for a near perfect series. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute story That Derails Itself
It is an enchanting story between two young students. Both guys are so adorable and cute and exude such charm on the screen that they could probably just recite a telephone book and I would watch them. But the story itself takes strange twists that are just not realistic or believable. But then it goes south for me very fast. I simply have a hard time at one point in the story where physical abuse is used to convey anger and frustration. While I understood the anger, I did not and will not accept that as a reason to resort to hitting to convey one's level of hurt feelings. It seemed incongruous and unnecessary and degraded the story. It is a beautiful love story to be ruined by physical abuse? I understand anger issues and even hurt feelings but to resort to hitting just seems so wrong to me and sends a bad and unhealthy message. . I loved the two main actors and the first part of the story. Just make the story about their relationship. It does not have to be complicated and you do not have to cheapen it by abuse in any form. Was this review helpful to you?
Too Long to Develop
I think I was drawn to this BL series because I became intrigued by the title of it. I wanted to know what it meant. You do not really know (or at least I could not figure it out) until close to the end of the series. When you do, it is quite charming, but it takes a long, long time to get there. The build-up of this story never really reaches a climax. It is just a series of explanations. All these characters are likeable. They are all handsome. The story takes way too long to develop. There really is no intensity in any of their relationships and it was hard to believe that any one of them were in ‘love’. So sorry. I loved the title of this series and it started out good, but it just never grew or reached any type of intensity level for me.

Relevant, Honest, and Current
This series is NOT made for old folks like me who are simply not into social media stuff. That does not mean that I can not appreciate what has been done in this series. It is both significant and profound. This series is based almost exclusively on two things – the computer and the pandemic. Both have been dealt with realism and gut-wrenching emotions. There is such a socially responsible message here that is almost as important as the development of their relationship. In fact, the one can does not happen without the other. Perhaps once this pandemic is over, we can look at this series and its message as passé but until then, it is RELEVANT.Was this review helpful to you?
Stunning Series
This is a most endearing series that is NOT BL in the classic sense of the word. It is an 8-episode series about friendship. What makes this story so unique is that all the characters are named Tee or have Tee in their names. The writing and directing for the most part are pretty solid. It has spots of humor but mostly concentrates on the pathos. There is no romance in this series but their is intense friendship and it is a solid gem of very, very good acting. This is very different for all of these actors and they get to take their acting abilities to a new level. I for one appreciated it deeply. Was this review helpful to you?
Roller Coaster of a Series
It starts out beautifully filmed with quite nice settings and realistic environments, for the most part. It begins as a ‘comedy’ and some parts are funny, but I just was not sure where it was going to go. The story starts out familiar and predicable and if it were not for curiosity and my addiction to BL, I am not sure I would have finished it. The biggest issue is, without doubt, the many unnecessary overly gay characters are in this who are characterized way over the top. This series gets SO much better towards the end. It loses the silliness and gets into some real heart wrenching situations that will leave you emotionally drained and feeling what they feel. I could not believe how deeply moved I was by those last 3 or 4 episodes. They are worth the wait and go beyond being effective. Was this review helpful to you?
Be Prepared
Wow! It is NOT what I expected. I expected this series to be light fluff with a comedic twist. But it has amazing twists and turns that will blow you mind. It is NOT what you think it will be. The screenplay is excellent and should be commended. Some of the dialogue is top notch and incredibly moving. The acting, without doubt, is first rate. With the story twists, this could have ended up more cartoonish, but it never goes there. That in no small part is due to the acting and directing. Kudos! Was this review helpful to you?
Didn't Buy The Emotional Tugging
This series has all the right elements to pull at the heartstrings of the audience. Misunderstood youth. Overbearing parents. Abusive family dynamics. Tone-deaf school officials. And reverential/delinquent love. Unfortunately, for me, it just did not work, and I did not, as the expression goes, ‘buy it’. Undoubtedly alone here, I felt no chemistry between the two main leads. In addition, it is getting tiresome and weary to preach the same tune over and over again: someone physically 25 years old simply cannot be a student in high school. In fact, no one past 20 should even attempt to portray anyone supposedly in high school. No matter how much they try, their own life experiences as well as their physical characteristics begin to show/display that they are not 16, 17 or 18. And I lose interest in the story. No matter how good the story is. It just does not work. In this case, one could easily tell who were not young looking. Overall, the story vacillated from being good to being utterly frustratingly bad. The whole story is so filled with tropey scenes and cliché setups that whatever emotional responses that we were supposed to feel, I could not elicit. Regrettably, this series did not even have potential. The characters are overplayed. The plot is weak and mawkish. And the storylines are right out of the unoriginal book of tropes and cliches. To be sure, it worked on a lot of people; I just did not get its attraction or appeal. Was this review helpful to you?
Me, My Husband, and My Husband's Boyfriend

A Sad Story
While the story itself is as old as time, the way it is presented is different. This is an exceptionally well-acted series that pretended to go deep but for me did not. What you have are essentially three flawed people who by circumstance become intertwined with each seeking something that ironically, they cannot give themselves. They each want to think ‘outside the box’ in terms of what is a ‘normal’ behavioral pattern for a relationship, but struggle to define for themselves what is normal. I found this series empty, soul-destroying, and profoundly sad. Confused by its message yet compelled to watch it in a very voyeuristic fashion. This is one series that I quite literally want to forget. Was this review helpful to you?
A Brilliant Series with repulsive scenes
Perhaps I am the only one who saw this BL as an allegory and a beautiful story. Of course it has some repugnant scenes in it but if you look at it as an allegory, perhaps it makes a bit more sense. This is painful no question but should not be dismissed because of the prism in which we view this series. We are NOT these guys. What happened between the two of them can not be undone but in this case ONLY they can decide and call it what they want. Does that make it right? NO! But it explains a lot. They have little time to explore their feelings and no avenues to do so. Can you imagine leaving your soulmate without ever knowing his touch, his warmth, his intensity. I can not judge their actions but only accept it. Life does not always follow the yellow brick road to happiness. Was this review helpful to you?
Awful, Banal, Monochromatic
Where to begin with this tedious series that went nowhere and said nothing. If this was supposed to be a BL, then the L was missing. Watching this series was like watching paint dry - slow, boring, tedious, I have never seen such portrayals of characters so wooden and stilted that it was hard to see them even as 2-dimenshilanal people, Yes, the cuisine looked good but the endless food preparations got to be too much. The ending made no sense at all. Honestly, this was awful and a waste of time to watch. Or perhaps, I just did not get it. And I honestly do not care if I did or not.Was this review helpful to you?
