For crying out loud, could someone PLEASE explain to me why Tae Oh is so dead set on making plans for OTHER people's success? I'm starting to think that blow to the head did some serious damage. He's being so dumb. He already knows Inha stabbed him in the back, so why the heck does he keep trusting Hyewon so blindly, and how can she be so dumb to go see Taeoh now that she knows exactly what kind of person Inha really is?The writing is driving me crazy. With each episode, it's just getting worse and worse. It's such a shame that Jaewook signed up for this drama.
For such rich and powerful people, they allow strangers into their family so easily smh. Did they ever do a proper background check on these people? - Hae In's brother's wife is obviously hiding who she really is -EunSeong is a psychopath. -Grandfather's girlfriend is a deceitful and manipulative woman. -Why does the matchmaker woman seem so important to them? Is she some kind of secretary/housekeeper? They trust her so much that she can even sit down to eat at the same table as the main family. I wonder if all of them have the same goal
The audacity of this bish to mistreat Isoo all these years for being an illegitimate son when she herself also had an affair, and Seungju isn't even the chairman's son and then she asks Isoo for help to keep the truth hidden because NOW they are "family". And she probably has something to do with Isoo's mom's death. She better get the karma she deserves😤
I also have suspicions that the secretary might be involved, but I really hope not because he was the only one (other than Seungju) who was always by Isoo's side, and he seems to care for him
I love how consistent this drama has been. With each episode it became more and more interesting. I can't believe it's ending next week.
I'm trying so hard not to have high expectations for this drama anymore, but I can't help but wish that the entire kissing scene is part of Taeoh's plan because I refuse to believe that a character they've tried to portray as smart and meticulous would go after his friend's fiancée KNOWING that there are likely people watching him. And for what? To risk losing all the work and effort he's been putting in for over 10 years for a girl he barely knows? His 'love for her' just doesn't make sense to me (and it has nothing to do with the lack of chemistry or the fact that the actress needs more acting classes). If they wanted us to believe that Taeoh would make a plan that puts his life on the line only to consider throwing it away just to be with the girl he's in love with, they should have made more effort to make the connection between them deeper and more meaningful. SHOW US SOMETHING. Am I supposed to believe that they're in love just because they've been stealing glances at each other? The 'love triangle' is a mess. It feels forced and unnecessary. If Taeoh and Hyewon end up together, 'disappointment' isn't a strong enough word to describe how I'm going to feel. This drama had so much potential, but they're really failing in the execution. We're halfway through and still don't know why Taeoh is so determined to take Inha to the top. I really don't understand and couldn't care less about all that business talk they're having. I'll keep watching bc I'm enjoying Jaewook's performance and I'm also curious to find out what Inha is up to. But most of all, I want to see my girl Huijoo get the happy ending she deserves.
ep12 felt like a fever dream tbh Jiwon's reasons for breaking up with Jihyuk don't make any sense to me. They could have perfectly continued as a power couple facing all problems TOGETHER but instead they put up this unreasonable behavior
