The son is not having it easy being in the middle with his parents, mother and girlfriend 😂 😂. I was rooting for them to become one big happy family later on until I discovered he has a daughter with his mistress and has hidden it for years, the same age as his daughter, that's not something you forgive easily so maybe the wife will feel the same as well.
Leo Wu carried this drama, for his age he is very matured, I watched it because of Liu Yuning, since it's my first drama of him, I know him as king of OSTs, wanted to see his acting . It's a boring drama with nothing to it, the war doesn't make sense after all they were going for an arrange marriage, all Li Changge does is to cause trouble and let people die, always claiming she knows everything meanwhile it's the other way around. I was disappointed in DD and ZL roles. Was going with 8 but it's a 7, a star casts but it's a lackluster drama.
Why I don't like talking bad about people online especially artists i just want to say KHS deserves, i mean some of us watched under the queen's umbrella and saw her spectacular acting, it was also my first drama of her. I also watched the glory and I can say it wasn't glorying anything, the glory was also my first drama of SHK, the drama had hyped because of biased people nothing else. I saw the trailer and gave it a watch but it was nothing, the glory had nothing to keep you engaged, I watched it while waiting for the grand "revenge" to happen but nothing to show for it as the plot description says except for the high profile actress, instead it gave me anxiety, let's not even talk about the romance aspect. So how come it won BEST DRAMA AND BEST ACTRESS? And didn't it just came out newly to be even considered without digesting it properly unlike the other nominees? KHS delivered in under the queen's umbrella, let's be honest raising 5 boys in a household full of malicious intent is never easy, fighting tooth and nail to keep your sons safe is not an easy job so for me that calls for a best actress award. At least MSM won best new actor which he really deserved to win.
Best drama to watch without feeling like dropping it. Engaging right from the start, My second time of seeing the leads in a drama and Chen Xing Xu came through again, he is literally a good actor with not just a pretty face, this is what happens when you really study drama and learn how to act, no wonder he was the top student in his class. A stellar casts with an amazing story, I didn't want it to end so I watched it for 3 days to delay finishing it because of how amazing the drama is. If you watch 1 episode you will feel like watching more and forget to sleep because of two smart leads put together, both leads are so smart that the villains don't even know what to do with them anymore. Beautifully done right, 10/10.
Just how tall is Chen Fei Yu in real life because all I kept looking at in this drama was his height and handsome prison hair. I found it boring for the first 23 episodes, it's so slow that I almost stopped watching but it picked up a little bit from episode 25. You can FF without missing anything. One of the reasons I don't watch modern drama is because they are so boring unlike historical drama with "drama" within. Love the OST.
My problem is that I can binge on Chinese drama non stop but with Korean drama it usually takes time for me to finish it even though I like kdrama as well 😂 😂. I'm a sucker for cdrama, i recently got into kdrama
A very satisfying drama, the drama is not too long and not too short, no unnecessary drama being thrown in at the last minute this is the way a drama is suppose to be with a fl that has sense and smart brain, also never changes after a few episodes. FL retain her smartness all throughout the drama.. The princess is my favourite character, her smartness is so hilarious 😂 😂. FL looks like Liang Jie 2ML looks like Merxat Princess Yinglous looks like Zhao Lusi The other jealous girl that later repented looks like Guan Gabrielle. 10/10
Too early to say, but if the screenwriters didn't butcher the storyline, seeing as many say that there are a lot…
For real hopefully not, as usual I'm going to wait for it to finish airing before I watch it. I am interested because of the beautiful leads since it will be 2nd time seeing them together and most importantly because xianxia genre /costume drama is my guilty pleasure, I'm a sucker for historical drama.
LMZ doesn't even strife to grow at all, no wonder she doesn't have any big project to her name because she doesn't know how to act instead she keeps taking all those small budget projects to hide her bad acting. My second time of watching her drama yet she's still the same, be it in costume or modern drama. She's too dull
JU really changed in this pt2, he became hotter, darker, brasher and moody. He matured a lot having come into his power as well. I also prefer the actress that played pt2 better, JSM age difference in pt1 made it awkward for me but she was good in playing her part.
I don't think people really understand this drama because all I'm seeing is complains. Don't watch a drama and start complaining if you aren't going to understand the story that it was telling. I didn't like pt1 but as I began watching pt2 it became obvious to me what the story was all about. I think Right from the start it was obvious to us but we choosed not to see it. First of all, the main theme has always been the seven stars, the king born with the 7 stars, the ice stone and Jonyoen. I will try to break it down if I can. JBY was never existed, she died when she was in the womb, for that reason JS was reborn through her with the help of the ice stone since the ice stone belonged to her which was why she was able to sense and retrieve it from the lake, it was also why she wanted to destroy it because she knew the effect it will have on humans with greed. She came back to stop the future she saw in her vision. The seven stars are JU, the person he was when his energy was closed and after it was opened which made him also the king as he was a product of the ice stone as well being that the ice stone is a powerful object. The other stars are all Jang UK friends, PDG, SY, the crown prince, Jin Bo Yoen and her sister JCY. The last star is CY aka Naksu. CY (Naksu) was destined to meet JU being that both fathers were best friends and their children would have met and fall in love with each other which master Lee also to be in conclusion of. JU was a king because of the alchemy of souls in which he was born, JBY was reborn as a star to help him stop the calamity while Naksu (calling her Naksu because it's easy) was born as a star to be his shadow. Jonyoen played a theme part in the sense that it's the most powerful place, so powerful that an object like the ice stone and the fire bird could be store there, which was why Jin Mu was obsessed in obtaining it or gaining access to it. Jonyoen collapsing would have been a disaster which we almost saw happened. People wondering what what happened to mudeok soul or JBY soul since Naksu took over. In Pt1 while naksu was trying to shift soul into another woman but got to enter mudeok body is because JBY made it so, both were stars and both had a role to play in the king (JU) coming into his power. In pt1 Naksu got to live as mudeok/JBY and in pt2 JBY got to live in naksu body. Been that the first priestess JS was never met to be born but she had to be born to see the future come to pass and stop it that was why she was able to leave at the end and gave way to the light and shadow which was Naksu to live because she never really got to live. I summarised it well in my head than I did writing it out, but all in all I really understand the drama and loved it. I guess the problem is the confusion of it all, in my own opinion it shouldn't have been divided, while watching it I refused to think of it as pt1 and pt2 and just sat it as 3YearsLater in my head which made me understand it better and got the bigger picture. I honestly loved the 3 years later more than the first part.
Gosh the tears I shed, I cried because it ended and the Ost Child was not helping either. So much love and gratitude to the female lead. It's an infinity stars from me
This is the type of drama you want the episodes to be 50+, the drama is so good that I don't want it to end, watched all episodes yesterday because I knew Netflix will finally upload the last two episodes today. Hope the drama and casts will clean house this year in award ceremony.
