This remind me of ALSB as well, and if you want something heavier you can also try Lighter and Princess which is a very good school/youth c-drama of 2022.

This reminds me of A Love so Beautiful so much even though the story is way way different especially the leads (Lin Xi is not as dumb as Xiao Xi and Ji Jun Xing is not a jerk like Jiang Chen and the only character whose exactly the same was both the second male lead), but what remind me of it is because of their friendship. Anyways, both leads have a very great chemistry and visuals. The story was just right and the ending was lovely.

Ajajajaja L&P is way way better than ALSB, but ALSB holds a special here in my heart since it was one of the first c-dramas that i've watched. I think the closest c-drama to L&P was Forever Love. I haven't watch it yet i just saw some clips so i just put it on my watchlist for the meantime.
I've just finished watching season 1. I'm really curious what was season 2 was going to look like and i hope the settings would be now on the current world. But the thing is i don't think i'm able to watch season 2 if it had different cast 😫.
