totally agree with u. Just seems toxic.
I really hope the writers make it so they can become a lovely couple in the end but nah like u wrote, if he has health-related issues the relationship will never get good.

I feel the same, modc and trapped was on a whole other level.
I will to continue to watch this and hope that it gets better. I really don't get how the step-brother situation will get good tho
