Shibayama: No concrete explanation, but when the baka duo (the returning paralegal from the first season) ask Nakamura about Shibayama (without mentioning his name) she said that she doesn't know his whereabout anymore. I assume that he and Nakamura broke up in between the first movie and the second season. Regarding his whereabouts probably it's either he is resigning from the job or transferred to other office.

Nabeshima: Passed Away in between the first movie and the second season

Maiko: Returns in the second movie, but didn't appear in the series.

The security from the first season and Ito Shuji (Baba's paralegal) is indeed the same character.

This is a SP, what do you expect. Also if this is made into a season, i think it's going to be better than the second one.

The bullied kid kinda ruin the drama, should've stay with Ohno's character being a lone wolf.

Dubbed as "Unknown Killer" in the tv announcement, i assume that he haven't been captured yet.

Great drama, but still a bit below Maou.

Simply plot armor. if i were the show director, i will put that on episode 9 with the vice principal resigning to make it more realistic.

I feel like the Cafe part-timer guy, could be the key character of the season. Probably a double agent, and it's hinted in some scene.

a bit disappointed with the ex-cop revelation, probably due to the pandemic they have to cut it short.
