No, I feel he’s actually doing okay (yes, his reputation did take a small hit, but his works are still doing well — like Great Escape which hasn’t cut or blurred him, but instead promoted him as usual, which I feel is their way of showing belief in him) since people who worked with him or even have friends who worked with him came out vouching for him. They also reassured fans that Xu Kai still has investors and directors who love working with him and continue to support him. On top of that, his Douban scores (of most dramas) went up, his followers after a small dip increased even more, and stories about his kindness keep coming out. Honestly, it feels like all this just showed how genuine he is and how much people in the industry and fans really believe in him. He really seems to be doing well. Also this seems to be to support kai kai and let him know how many fans he has who still is here to trust and support him.

I think the evidence should be conclusive first—only then would there be any real concern about brands dropping him. From what I see, Xu Kai has had long-standing relationships with his brands, and this isn’t the first time he’s faced controversies. Unless the accusers can actually provide solid proof, I don’t think any of his brands will act against him anytime soon.

As for the drama, I noticed on Twitter that someone mentioned a live session with another well-known actor/director/producer. They said there’s been no talk of Xu Kai being dropped, and even if that particular drama does make changes, he still has several other projects lined up. So honestly, there’s no need to worry too much.

Wow, I’m really enjoying this. Xiwei is such a cute cat, and her acting is great here. As for Xu Kai, his performance is amazing as always.
I honestly can’t take my eyes off him—he’s just too handsome. I mean, imagine how attractive he must be if he still stands out to me when the entire male cast of this drama is already so good-looking.

dont worry, if he is meant to be a part of that drama he will get it , and if not then he will find something even better. xu kai is talented and will have no problem finding good work. and we too are there for him to support him no matter how much negativity is there.

the legends (chemistry is great but the story is nice but there is a lot of scenes cut due to censorship so it can be a bit annoying. but i really enjoyed their chemistry. for me it was a 10 even with all the cuts.
arsenal military academy (its not romance focused, but it has the same pair as legends and the chemistry is still great. also xu kai is amazing in it.)

loved Sword and fairy 6 especially Xu Kai's portrayal of BLH. i cried watching it.

snow eagle lord , i watched but had to drop in the middle because of the annoying villains. xu kai was great in it so, i am still willing to pick up this drama and watch it again.

Once Upon a time is my favourite one. i have seen it a lot of times. xu kai did a great job in portraying wang lu. I doubt anyone else would have been that good.

lost in kunlun mountain is something i need to watch. i was planning to watch it but after hearing about the ending, i postponed in watching it. anyway since it's Xu Kai, will definitely watch it for him.

ancient love poetry is another drama that i want to watch but it's not exactly my favorite genre so i am still postponing it.

i don't think ABAY has any story left for S2. but yeah would love a new project with them both ..

I haven't seen the recent episodes, but from reading the novel, I've gathered that Ji Xing's expectations for love are somewhat unrealistic.
