yes, she follows her mother into the hong family. haejoo's mother wants haejoo to marry a problematic man. i guess the reason he marries hong haejoo is not to keep her under his control but to protect her from marrying that problematic man.

because he doesn't want her to fall in love with him, he already warned her in ep 2 during the dinner scene. he also said, "you are not in my plan."
this is my theory, he loves her but he doesn't want her to be involved with his family because it will be too dangerous for her. at first, he lets her go. however, when Hong Ina mentions that Haejoo will marry a problematic man, he changes his mind to protect haejoo from that problematic man. after they marry, he protects Haejoo by not announcing their marriage to the public and only family knowing about it.

2. yes, they already graduate. in ep 5, taeyong juhee yeojin janggun and other has party in a bar to celebrate their graduate, one of them said that taeyong yeojin janggun going to SNU (Seoul National University) and the other going to SKY universities.
