This is common in the BL world. It's not only in Thai but also in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, and I'm not referring to only dramas but also in novels and BL comics. Whoever is in the bottom position will be the "wife,” and whoever is at the top will be the "husband.” The husband/wife is either being initiated by the watcher/reader or it's by the writer themselves. Most aren't aware that this is bad since this has been normalized in BL fiction.
