i don't thinks so. She is smart but they way she uses her smartness and gets her work done, it can't done from inside of palace so easily. she has that advantage of being outside and being near to her enemies.

Despite being sad on how story was going, I was laughing so hard during the scene of QZL and Qi Rong when QR was getting ready in emperor's clothes, it was like two fools, one overconfident and another can't believe that he just hit a lottery. Background music was also contributing to it. hahaha
Didn't expect that the very next scene would end up like this. oh poor them.

well you might be little disappoint with novel after watching this drama because there CRY and Qi Yan are not the couple and Qi Yan ..... it's spoiler but you can guess his ending.

QZL as enjoying today's drama a lot. I was like, "QZL, I am enjoying too. Let's see who enjoys till the end." hahaha
QYZ has so many cards. the one who she is against is surely to be doomed. On my list of smartest/best written characters, Mei Changsu has been at the top forever. Though still no one can take down him but she is quite close to him. ow difference in smartness of people at other places in my list with him has been too big. She is surely in 2nd place now.
Nirvana in fire was my first historical cdrama back in 2017, it raised my standard so high that later I have been often disappointed in historical or wuxia dramas. Hardly 2-3 are my favorites. Now this drama came into that league. it's plot is really interesting. Always makes you restless and excited for next episode. even if there was no chemistry in lead pair I would have bear it. Well, their chemistry is not the best but still quite good.
We are halfway through in this drama now. I just hope it would have a happy ending especially for Qi Yan.

Yes, true. She was not meant to be that perfect and her incapability was seen by Qi Yan quite long ago. I m sure initially Qi Yan also didn't think to keep her beside him for long. Since she makes Qi Yan happy, trust in present him and he trust her loyalty more than anyone, now it's emperor who won't let her go. even if she becomes useless.
He instead thinks of protecting her more than he should expect her to protect him. Qi Yan is another one of the best male character written.

Well, we will find her importance in coming episodes more. in my view, Other than romance another importance of her silliness and inability, as of now, is building her connection with her sister. If she was also so smart and cautious like her sister, we wouldn't have seen them getting close. Even if they are on opposite side, QYZ has to guide her because of her silliness just like an elder sister would have done if they knew.
Lol I think I see CRY as a little kid in a house of adults who ought to be just pampered by everyone. But she is also turning into a serious person slowly.

So, did QYZ find about CRY's identity? Why don't they translate texts?!!

well that's the difference between CRY and her sister. And I like that difference. both grew in different circumstances and around different people. I like that CRY character is light ow in some drama either all are fools or all are so serious/smart. this drama has quite a range of different personalities.
maybe you prefer more sensible character like QYZ, I also do. But I can sense that her chemistry with Emperor wouldn't be that good as CRY, maybe if CRY character was similar to her then we wouldn't feel same, and it is because of her character that she suits to Emperor more than anyone else. She is like a pure morning dew in his life.
In the middle, I also found her little annoying but with every ep she is improving. Her sarcasm is also improving. laughing while remembering scene from ep 21 in court haha

great! I hardly see bts of any drama. already not getting enough time to complete bookmarks. I miss my teen age days lol... sadly at that time I didn't have access like right now, also present quality (cinematography, camera work, action scene etc) was not there. It's really hard to keep up with all of stuff of your favs.

I am an Asian. In my country too, nation is always first, and people have been often triggered with celebrities and keep slandering them calling traitor and all whenever their picture with someone from enemy country shows up or smth suspicious antis are able to dig on them. But govt never got involved or put ban on them. Fanwars for sometime at most. It's ridiculous to curb someone human right, right to livelihood like this. I can't imagine this here. Maybe because we have multipartisan political system, even if govt dare to do such thing, there will be many in political sphere to critize govt for this. And many petitions would have reached to supreme court under human right violation, freedom of expression on social media etc. It wouldn't have been accepted so easily like its happening in china. Hardly anyone powerful is criticising it except few sensible citizens.
I feel so sad.

btw actor playing QZL was in a boy band China Power as main vocalist. I can't imagine him in a boy band lol. He is really doing good job as a villain

Still this way convicting people through social media and on public opinion is very bad for society. If this happens then different opinions will always be suppressed and ignored as they are not aligned with public opinion. What about an individual's right? He wasn't even given chance to explain himself or tell the truth. He has been labeled from "traitor" to "spy" or what not. Weibo had been ruthless to him and conviction by network based on public opinions fuels such public opinion and cyber bullying more as they think what they are doing is right.
I saw today #stopweiboconviction was run on weibo. I just hope some sensible Chinese people would knock some sense into public and their society that this is not the right way do punish someone even if wrongs have been done. Once it starts to happens, once you use patriotism as a knife, it come come to your throat too at any time. So people should always be careful about letting public decide the result or conclusion. ow why do we need judicial system. Public is always ready to give their opinion in all matters and they will happily give judgment too. It's sickening that people are justifying this wrong way of punishment by saying that he deserved it since he was wrong.

if things keep going like this, i think i will rebel one day.
omg what to do, right now I am not able to enjoy anything. Even laughs and smiles of people are now shattering my heart when I keep remembering him. Need to ask some question to myself again, for what I am living this life when there is so many disappointments and pains one after the other

It's been three days and I constantly been investing myself over his issue. And i really can't take it, can't convince myself that it really happened. It's not like ZZH is my ultimate fav actor, i have a long list of my favs from cdramas and kdramas. But i am so deeply hurt by this issue right now, that i don't feel lile watching any drama anymore. I mean how can u ruin someones career overnight like that. How? How ruthless u must be to be able to do so or be okay with it?
I still can't fathom all of this. If something happened to him, will people really okay with it? Are they okay now with all of these harsh punishments, are their hurt feelings now healed?
And then there is Taliban on other side of world, going to run a country after inlicting so many atrocities on people during their previous rule, sort of getting second chance right now with their new promised reformed ways. Was this issue not enough to stress me out that now so much bad happended to zzh.
World is literally a cruel mess!
And i m slipping into it, my own mental health is a mess right now. I wish ZZH is able to cope up with all of this. I hope his close ones are there to support him. ZZH, stay healthy and happy. It's still not the end of world. Come back stronger and matured or just be happy whichever path u chose in future. Love u
