I agree. And if Fu Rong actually understood Xu Jin, she would’ve known that he would want her to continue on…
What i really hated the fact she woke up after the thunder hit them, what's with that situation. I mean can anyone live in that situation. I mean normal human die if thunder hit them right? That's why i see but don't try to find logic in dramas. It's not like I've no opinion about it but i tend to look forward

Actually she got pressure from the king.. She wanted her family to be safe. As we all know the king thinks fu rong is troublemaker and because of her his favorite son changed himself. So she thought it's the best option for her to die or her family might be in danger.
How does he die?And how is the ending of both couples, I mean will main couple be together until the end or divorce?
when he tried to kill xu jin, fu rong came and took a stab herself so she died.. Xu ping killed himself after seeing fu rong die and guess what his mom was alive all this time. Then something magical happened and fu rong woke up and then got married as wangfei.. Happy ending
In a word: disappointing. The rating is between two and tree stars depending on your acceptance/not minding too…
Yup it's sickening when author justified his actions as he's in love with her and because he's sexually frustrated so he cannot accept her refusal or he cannot stop himself wanting her.. In one paragraph he said to fu rong that he's giving his whole being and trying so hard but she was not giving in.. So she's cruel.

Welcome. But it's really true that they changed the character of xu jin which is bearable. If u read the novel you will see xu jin's ego or something like that in every chapter. But only thing that is great in novel is that he never had any other women and he's truthful to Fu rong.. He shared everything with fu rong so there's no misunderstanding. He even got punished by the emperor for refusing to marry the princess.
ALSO FUN FACT these are points i found interesting from the novel because it's super different from the drama:1)…
In a word: disappointing. The rating is between two and tree stars depending on your acceptance/not minding too much forced consent. The novel's description about "predicting the future by dreaming" is by no means accurate, it's probably the description of the drama adaptation as chinese drama can't have the reincarnation theme, so they need to change the plot. What really happens in the novel is the following: Fu Rong was married and divorced before marrying again as a concubine of Xu Jin. During their brief marriage, their interactions are limited and occur mostly at night. He is cold and looks down on her for being already married. She is very beautiful and... that's it. Xu Jin goes to war and dies, soon after also Fu Rong is killed by someone unknown and they both wakes up again 6 years before. In her new life, Fu Rong doesn't seek revenge, she wants to stay away from her past and help her family. As there is the tag "slow romance", I thought the novel would show us how the two leads would meet again and slowly fall in love. I couldn't be more wrong with my expectations. Xu Jin is immediately obsessed with Fu Rong, why one would ask. First, because she is so beautiful, second for a s*upid and lame reason. He has a "disease" that makes him sick whevener he smells a woman scent, but, guess who is the only woman he can hold without feeling sick? Guess right, Fu Rong. The author is so lazy that he/she took the easy way out in making Fu Rong special in order to justify Xu Jin love for her, as it would have been difficult to give FR a personality or write scenes about their interactions, anything to justify his obsession, but whatever. So, as she is born again and she is still innocent, XJ wants to absolutely marry her. He often appears into her bedroom, kisses repeatedly even if she doesn't want, he even touches her intimately when she is asleep finally forcing her to accept his marriage proposal. One good thing I can say about FR is that she doesn't act as an innocent and naive girl who blushes or gets flustered when a man is near her as she is an experienced woman who knows how to act and bear according to the situation. There's nothing similar between the drama and the novel
