Just to make it clear it was GrimReaper #007....Since he didn’t exist anymore he could use his face and granted “Blacks” final wish to be the one to guide her to the next life...So no real reunion just bitterness worse then bile
Watching the ending.....Just reminded me of Edward Scissorhands...It has the same vibe....God I hated that ending, she could of been honest about what happened so people could accept him but she just admits her guilt to her grandkids while he is left alone abandoned still thinking highly of her.... Anyway the fact in Black theirs no shred of happiness for him breaks my heart completely with every circumstances to why making it more and more bitter

It’s not that she lost the ability, i think it’s more she came to terms with it on her own without him and it’s part why She becomes a firefighter... Honestly I don’t see it as a happy ending at all.....Just bitter

I find the reaction to her having a colored eye to be rather racist, calling her a monster and such similar things actually felt extremely uncomfortable ? Though I was hoping for the murderer to have a happy ending so who am I to judge
