@Pranjali Srivastava I got why he left. The reason was he act as the leader there for the whole time and he even quarantine the infected ones and used Cha hyun soo. you are right actually the reason Kang Ho is in this position because of his mother but the thing is according to her aspect she did not want to lose her son same as the way her husband went, she thought the reason her husband died is because of lack of power therefore no justice was given, and that made her think that her son should not need to go through what his parents went. That's why she did that way but after Kang ho's accident she realized that she has done a huge mistake.
That is why in the beginning of the story this quote was given "pig cannot see the sky unless he falls down same as humans after fall down only they would be able to see the other part of the world" the same thing what has happened to kang ho and his mother.
