This is such a beautiful drama with phenomenal cinematography, amazing soundtrack and well-written characters.…
After getting attached to so many characters, they just started killing them off one after the other. I still don't understand it other than shock value. Even Yoo Jin, he could have placed the soldiers on the other train compartment and then disconnected the 2 sections. Great series though!
So still no answer to the bracelet that TK is wearing? Could that be the bracelet that SW gave the 'boy' that he was bullied for in the earlier episode? We know that SW has liked TK from the very beginning of the series but they don't actually give the time frame. He never answered TK about the closing your heart off and opening it up again. So maybe TK is the 'boy' and TK is SW's first love?
I did not like DA in this episode simply because of the way he came across, the lines made him seem selfish because I think he could have said things differently. He simply ignores everyone's feelings and confesses which in my opinion brings him back to the beginning where he ignored TK's feelings.
Thank you to the translators who added the missing writing... it was even sadder after reading what they wrote on the shirt and the notebook. There is a special place for people like Fern.
Was this a hot mess in virtually every way? Yes. Do I still want a season 2? Also yes.
Same here! Maybe they had too much going on in terms of story lines and then there was the whole confusion on the number of episodes (12 or 10). I really hope they release a special episode or something if there is no season 2. I actually did not like Bbomb and Jin's match in the beginning but they grew on me. Now, I just want to watch them have some cute moments together again.
I waited and then binged... I am sorry but I could not connect to Teh and Oh this season. Maybe it was the time jumps as I felt like I was missing something. There were issues that were brought up for conflict but were never really addressed. I felt at times that Teh resented Oh and little things became big issues for Teh. But Oh let a lot of things slide and was more accommodating to me it seemed. I did not shed a single tear and was only most concerned when Oh started crying at the table with his new friends. I became even more interested in Mae/Plug's story at one point.
In all in all still a great production, top quality. I am separating it from the first season though.
I am going to wait until all the episodes air.... why?... because I want to get all the crying done in one sit down session. I will take a hard pass on bravery for this one. See you all on the other side.
And It's a wrap. NubsibGene had their happy ending. This series is literally one of the best. Highly recommended.…
That kiss had me feeling really single... and hungry at the same time. I must say they have some of the best "real" kisses in a BL. I am really over the "lips touching" thing that a lot of BLs do (I understand it but a lot of times it kills the emotion).
This was even sadder when I realized that Sib and Gene have been through this before. This is pretty much how things went down when they were kids. I just feel so bad for Sib knowing how much he did and went through to reunite with Gene only to somehow end up right back where he started. With that said, I really hope Sib has a plan to get Gene back because Sib is Gene's only choice, no one else will do. Or (and this is a stretch), Gene will come to his senses and try to get Sib back on his own. A girl can dream!
Why? Why? Why?... Oh my eyes and ears... was that really necessary? Maybe it is just me but Ohm lost points with this character Pierce. I felt so bad for Typhoon. I need to erase this from my memory.
I totally didn't see aoey liking gene coming, that was an interesting twist. what I don't get is why he told gene…
Considering his past, I think Aoey was being manipulative... he told Gene he liked Sib so that Gene would stop himself from liking Sib. That would give Aoey time to get at Gene because Aoey already knew that Sib liked Gene from the beginning. I knew that Aoey liked Gene because he knew way too much about him. The way Aoey was with Sib was more about the series and fan service than liking him.
My Heart and Brain went on a romantic sunset walk along the beach during this episode. Young Sib was adorable and I forgive Sib for lying because based on Gene's personality, Sib would not have been able to break out of the 'friend zone' if he had approached Gene as a 'childhood friend'. They would have remained just friends. This makes the drunken Gene episode all the more important because Sib held back on getting physical with Gene. For me, it showed that he wants to make sure that Gene doesn't back track on their developing relationship. Although, the drama with Aoey might affect Gene's thinking but it is too far gone for him to simply give up now.
I am sorry but it is really hard for me to accept this double standard episode which was frustrating to no end. To the point, that the sighs were getting to me. Telling someone that they can do whatever they want and then forcing them to do what you tell them, wow just wow. SMH. These last 2 episodes have been hard to digest for me.
I haven’t seen anyone talk about it here, but I’m honestly confused by that whole hiding the stuffed dragon…
I think there might be a hidden backstory to this dragon. Why that particular stuffed animal? It is definitely a couple's piece which I think Sib wanted to give to Gene but because they are not there yet he hid it in the closet. I think for him, he might be comforted by the fact that they have a couple's item even if the other is unaware.
