I think we all agree the last scene was bad in terms of editing. For your question, first he's not seeing his mom's memories it's his memory ( the headband scene) of the same day his mom went missing she was telling him the color of the headband, but for the drowning one we are not sure ( I hope i didn't confuse you even more ). For how Yoo Han knew about the headband: after the color rush Yeon Woo started seeing the same memory but this time with colors while he was passing out and at the decoloring he started screaming about how he wanna see the color of the headband and Yoo Han was present so he heard everything. I hope it's clear now ^^
