So Grandpa's actor was too good, I was probably upset and angry for over 5 hours. Unfortunately it was too good, so that as a viewer you couldn't really concentrate on the end* and so you couldn't enjoy it either. Just to say it again, the ending was of course much too short and squeezed in. It showed once again (unfortunately) how abuse in all forms is unfortunately not seen and how quickly it happens or that it is so close to you (at work, in the next room, your best friend, the neighbors). *The ending (I mean the good ending without any problems) was very nice, even though it probably only lasted 15 minutes.
why I'm now struggling to give it a better rating: because I, among others, have been upset about it for over 6 hours now (Grandpa and Ma and the stupid Babe (also Cookie or Nappadol) and Ohm). Not everything can be described as “entertainment purpose”. Sometimes it goes too far, and that was the case here. apart from what happened: discrimination, homophobia, contempt for humanity, domestic violence and physical abuse of those entitled to protection and much more, to name just a few. All is well and forgotten and well in the end, only we remain behind. There were also series that thought of us and did something good. Just because it looks good, was the ending really good? NOO definitely not. Oh, before I forget the product placements were way way too much. sometimes strange moments where nothing was explained even though there was a big exclamation mark in the room. and well the usual ones: places intended for money where an office should be but doesn't look harmonious and cheap, other things that don't fit. Edit could be better. nobody should be involved in abuse or domestic violence, you name it, but the entertainment industry could also show and continue solutions. I don't want to support abuse, domestic violence, you name it, against people who need protection, be it entertainment or not. Never ever. the series has definitely lost potential, it's a shame, it could have been a big or bigger success if they'd stuck to the beginning and didn't feel like they made a completely different show out of it. even the ending doesn't encourage you to look further, more like '' ok it was quite nice but that's enough now''.
