I don't know why they choose some disease like Amyloidosis for this drama but actually as a doctor who had contact with patients with similar or exact disease, I can understand the overall concept of the drama. The things that never mentioned in terminal illness or in general word illness drama is that, the diagnosis except for some rare disease, such as kinds of pancreatic cancer, are not death sentence. They are chronic disease with lots of challenges and faces which could change by treatment plan. It is never like we tell patients certain time of death like "you have 2 month, three month" most of the time it never happens in real word. For chronic disease specifically rheumatological disease, or some malignancies you have back and force longgggg history for the patients and in touch doctor. So it is meaningful at least for to not make his disease as death sentence from the first episode to spend his dying wish with that. Representing sign of poor prognosis always devastating for patients and relatives. Ot is not easy to accept it at first time and their interaction is okay and somehow near to real world in this drama in my opinion.
I know that movie is considered as a drama, but if the film makers want to add the medical conditions, they need to get consult from at least a medical students to get the better result.
