So having said all that, I feel that sometimes the sort of behaviour that is expected out of the crown prince ( her ) towards his royal tutor in a formal manner is not carried out. I mean I'll take today's example. I get that he ( she ) was utterly sadden with the situation where her grandma sort of figure had her hair cut by that rude guest and all that he ( she ) could do have beat the pulp Outta him in the flash of emotions and then get this whole situation assessed by his father and be told something like " I didn't expect this from you" or something ....so he the royal tutor just hugged him( her) .

Needless to say obstacles are bound to come in that narrative coz well she is a girl. In addition to that we see the sort of predicament the couple of the show are in : the girl is dead as far as the world is concerned and the guy is serving the crown prince ( her) as a royal tutor .
Honestly I've been thinking about that first scene too but based on what HJ's voice over says when that scene…
