oh ...in my case, not much of a BL fan (no offense at all just not my taste).....i either watch thriller or slice of life types dramas( of taiwan, thailand,JAPAN ) sometimes . . . . OR american/Uk/Russian series.

Lovesick retard xD........exactly my feelings/thoughts on this. like characters are having dual personalities. its like they(production) have only one set of trait to follow when they making Romance drama i.e characters are gonna act dumb , lovesick, childish, corny ...why? cause audience loves it thats why........Good story writings doesn't need 'these things' to attract audience , their strong/excellent script and actors alone does the JOB.
Look at the drama LIBERATION NOTES........even without all those corny dialogues and acting, how beautiful was the romance. Why can't every or at least 50% of kdramas be as casual yet beautiful as this in terms of presenting romance. ( No real people acts so CRINGY in there real life, if they are that not there true self at all, its FAKE persona they using. nothing genuine.)

Exactly......i made a same point a time ago, and they TOLD me to 'stop being immature'. i was like WTF? i mean productions literally released 5-10 dramas based on romance aside from 1-2 thriller and it still wasn't enough for your CRINGY axx??.🤷
i've come to notice for a lot of dramas with little to no romance no matter how amazing they are there are people…
oh you think Romance genre in kdramas is not 10 times cheesy in compare to other countries dramas. ( i know they show such stuff because people wants to see that ......but it doesn't mean its not childish and cheesy just cause majority likes it. )

Everything went downhill the moment they (makes) promised that "We are cutting short the episodes as we are going to focus on Quality :)"......huh! quality my a$$.
ALL other recent law dramas were like that... > Bad prosecutor........started good nd fresh , new cast (loved 'em) , then WENT DOWNHILL > May it please the court........good start , not more than 15 or 20 cast , AVERAGE ENDING ( it was like VERY simple plot VERY.....presented beautifully ) > Doctor lawyer............Disappointed everybody's expectation. > Again my life ........Started very good, but ending was RUSHED (it was even faster than a FLASH⚡ ) and was total disappointment, if we remove or rewrite episode 15 & 16 it would be perfect then.
