Does it get less boring and gloomy after the first 2 episodes? I mean I do dig dark plots but this one is gloomy…
That's the reason no one is aware of what SERIAL KILLING is in today's time because technology has made it harder for people like those to commit similar crime.
And today's episode was GOLD. Man everything is unpredictable , i never expected that he would get caught(some kinda plan maybe?), i thought since he decided to change his MO so it will be another longe chase but next scene he is getting caught.

Exactly !! They are trying to keep it real......no extra level genius ML, no some guy with 10 martial arts skills, no genius hacker, you have to watch it with realistic viewpoint....then only we can come to know how real and tense the situations are.
You have to patient here....cause this is first time creators are focusing on the psychological aspects of the…
yeah i can understand.....but still try sticking with it till the end, maybe you end up developing a new taste. or watch it with a learning point of view of like "How brain works? or How human psychology works?......what makes humans do what they do?....Are everybody born evil ? ..etc etc"

yeah this is there first try as far as i know.....where they stretch over psychological aspects of crime, and since i have watched 1-2 English tv series of similar genre(not entire but at least 1-3 seasons) , so i can see dialogues are not that fleshed in compare too....maybe kdramas went too realistic since dialogues looks like boring day to day conversation sometimes ......not something that came out of script which is supposed to look cool. So maybe that's why most of us feeling like that.
In American or other Tv shows what happens, the psychological talks are so psychological. its like its full of knowledge but many technical words , that if you love reading about psychology or directly into that field then only you understand and enjoy the show to the fullest otherwise its becomes too technical.......but there other aspects of show compensates that like action, thriller moments, tension, etc etc.
So i think here whats actually happening is ....the writer is trying to keep all psychology stuffs to moderate ...since as we can see its not that hard to understand what they are saying (that's why it feels boring i guess?)....because without those technical terms its just a plain dialogues.(but yeah its realistic this way............English ones feel knowledgeable but too unrealistic, maybe that's why they are fun too watch) "When its gets real its get boring".......maybe that's what happening here..?

Well i too thought so at first (cause we tends to compare to American shows of same genre which focuses on criminal profiling like 'criminal minds'), but i tried to stick with the plot cause story gets interesting as episodes goes on but its fine for me now. American series mostly are in episodic format, so 1 or 2 episode there is new thrill, but opposite to that kdramas likes to form a single big story with multiple plots interlinked to each other. So umm....if you are not a big fan of this genre then you may find it boring i guess, but for me its pretty good for their first time in making drama of this kind.
Does it improve after episode 1? Thought it was quite average.
You have to patient here....cause this is first time creators are focusing on the psychological aspects of the crime & about profiling. If you prefer lots of action over psychological stuffs then you may find it little average , but trust me its a good drama.
whats the ratio of romance to actual plot in this drama, cause i am hearing this drama have some good fighting skills n all...but i don't want romance to be the center of everything.
also, the "romance" in KST's body and JSJ is super uncomfortable to watch, like i get it ur in love but KST is…
Such a disappointing move by drama creators. -___- They just can't live without romance huh?
Ok well i will try watching it trusting your advice..........but if i still find it annoying , then i am coming to you to release all my rants & frustration hehe xD
I LOVE THIS. Everyone is treated like a human being, not a "genius" monster/hero who gains the ability out of…
Yeah that's why i like it, they really focusing on how profiling works & why it is necessary, instead of Genius profiler (korean-american) coming here and solving crimes.

God i knew Romance will fricking destroy this drama...........i can't understand what is k-writers obsession with making every good story about romance. Such a downer. I thought i would wait for whole series to be released before watching, but i guess i am DROPPING it before even Starting.
