Its probably a wrong camera angle (cctv), he probably took his gun out to defend or to shoot the shooter behind her or somewhere but forgot due to his " Peak time of the year mental issue".

This man is an all-rounder....can fit in any kind of role. as a villain in 'Remember' Drama.;; as a funny character in 'chief Kim' drama. as a psychopath in 'The girl who sees scent' ( drama was not so good but his acting was impressive. ) etc etc
Especially ye ji.... Its was petty obvious she has some other agenda. So i find her act of trying to be close n all pretty annoying.
