I can totally understand what you said about watching just to pass time. And tbh BL series are kind of falling on that all the same stories for me at this point. Idk, i can see some series trying to make smth different (like manner of death and it seems like gmm will try hard this year with tale of a thousand stars and not me) but we can also say there's 10 same-plotline BL for 1 that tries to be different. I'm kinda tired of engineering students and enemy to lovers plot, but, yeah, let's hope 2021 will bring us some good stories.

Yeah, that's a good point.They changed a lot of stuff from Manner of Death's novel to fit in the screen (if they did the whole story from the novel they would probably need a lot more of episodes lol). I didn't know Mame was involved in the production and knowing that makes a lot of sense now.I got a little bit cringe with LBC2 tbh. What they did to TinCan was merciless lol. At some point it looked like Mean and Perth were trying too hard while the rest was giving zero fcks. But I can still say I enjoyed the drama because of TulHin story.. even tho the novel is pretty toxic I like them and I liked a lot how their story was told in the drama. Anyways, it was good to read your points. At the end of the day I cannot see anything special in this drama and it sucks because I know a lot of people were waiting for tharntype2 (i didn't like the end of season one tbh. The way they treated Tar's situation lacked consideration). And I can't also see the logic of Type being so jealous about his gay boyfriend talking to a woman while he is so into his relationship with the closet lol. Techno is also so annoying (i like him but he can be a pain in the neck sometimes) and I'm really watching it now because of Champ and I'm a little bit interested in Fiat's story but it looks like he's there just to cause Tharn to be jealous in future episodes. At this point I don't know if people are really really enjoying the drama or they are blindly supporting MewGulf.

I haven't read tharntype novel (and I wouldn't anyway if the novel is as bad as the season 2 drama lol) so I can't say if the problem is that the novel's plot is also part of the problem. Until now I just watched fanservice, bad plot and the only thing I'm kind of enjoying is Champ lolol I'm asking this because people got mad with LBC2 and besides what they had to adapt because Saint was not there the drama's plot followed the novel very much. Even what people called bad acting for Plan i just saw him being very similar to Can (and for me lbc was great because of TULHIN so maybe that's the reason I enjoyed LBC2 so much lol).
Although I disagree with some stuff, I can also agree with at least half of the things you just said. There were some scenes that i still don't get the point and the trailer now feels almost like a clickbait indeed... I got confused a lot of times with the timeline (like I actually did in Why R U, cause I remember some "6 months earlier" stuff that made go like ??¿??) and I hope they just get Saifah and Zon the series/special they deserve. I don't know how I really feel about this special episodes tbh... For me the acting was on point but maybe it's just the actors natural chemistry... But some scenes made me cringe a bit :(. I can't say I won't never watch it again but I will probably do this after rewatch saizon scenes from why r u and keep missing them.
