Probably because she wanted to get married to him but he wasn't prepared for it so early and that kinda gave her no hope to live , even thou he did propose to her in a later stage. But by then by her all hope was gone and she didnt want him to suffer. Thats my guess, but i think she's still alive.

I think his marriage to pin isn't valid unless pin made pla divorce him .

But i do think that pla could have been pregnant and had a son , its a possibility
