This drama is the worst of all the kdramas that I have seen. The concept is good but the execution is so messy and nonsensical. I would give a 5 but because I feel sorry for the actors who did their best to portray the characters given to them and the crappy plot, I give this a 7. If this was given to a different writer, the result may have been better but 99% of the time I thought the writer was on drugs. Many of the subplots don't make sense and the characters' actions do not connect. I feel sorry for the FL. Many commented that it was her acting. It was probably her acting too but I think she was not given much to work with because of the plot holes in her character development. The actress herself probably couldn't understand why the character acts certain ways either so she probably couldn't deliver.
Every character in this drama is either psychotic, unstable or sick in the head. The whole drama is so messy and disconnected. The two talented actors were wasted in this drama. What a disappointment! I can't believe this passed the production team. The writer romanticized the type of behaviors and idealisms of the lead characters in this drama and portrayed it like it's okay to stalk and become a murderer because of love. Any thought or action of intended murder is not okay regardless of the reasons.
This is surprisingly emotional and beautifully done. There are so many touching scenes. I cried. I laughed. I see many relatable scenarios. I have always been a fan of Kim Ha-Neul and she is still so beautiful. The entire cast (esp. the young stars were surprisingly good), screen writer(s) and production team have done a stellar job. This is so underrated.
This question is for the people who know Korea or the culture. School bullying and workplace discriminations with divorced women are apparent. Are the issues that bad in South Korea? It's surprising to see many issues are still manifesting in modern society such as South Korea.
I'm on ep. 10 and I'm really enjoying this. I think there is a conflicting of FL's character traits. The FL later is portrayed as very smart but in the beginning it's hard to understand how could someone be that intelligent just signed any legal documents without proper additional legal advises and trusted that her dad as gambler w/o questioning the motive. Then the aunt used the excuse that she paid the debts of her gambling father in the beginning. If you were the child, would you blindly believe in something that's so farfetched and then later in the storyline they portrayed the aunt as she did everything to climb to where she was so where in the world would she get the money to pay off his debts?
The premise seemed farfetched to begin the story but I enjoy it so far as how the story is progressing. The chemistry between the two main leads are undeniable. The two leads did a great job portraying their characters. This is not the typical weak FL that let the SFL and the villains run all over that you usually see in Thai lakorns but I'll have to for the rest of the episodes to unfold.
I think this drama is underrated. If you are into slow burn romance, then this is it. I went in with no expectations, thinking I should try at least 1 episode because I love the FL in the CLOY as SFL there. It turned out it's better than I expected it. It did not disappoint with solid acting and well developed characters; not the best storyline but still enjoyable.
This is a nice fluffy romance with an okay storyline. The chemistry and the acting are solid though and the FL is quite pretty. This is an easy watch and entertaining, better than most cdramas these days.
I had to drop this drama halfway because the FL character got frustrating. This is 2020. Why are there so many storylines with these type of weak FL characters?
I honestly think this remake cdrama version is much better than the original Thai version. I love the FL character here whereas the FL in the Thai version can get annoying at times. Granted there were some unnecessary but overall it's solid storyline with great acting . Zhou Yu Tong has become one of my favorite actresses.
Definitely recommended to watch this. I think this one is quite underrated. This is one of the most well done production with well developed strong characters and storyline. All the actors did a great job in their role and are very convincing. I love how the FL character is written. She's strong but not overly overbearing. Smart and witty that she can stay calm in almost every situation. I wish majority of cdramas would be in this caliber.
It was interesting at first despite many loopholes then the story went even more ridiculous with his dad and her mom's story. Don't even get me started with the ending. It sure was "WTF" moment. No wonder this was shelved until now. Was this like end of the year to get rid of trash productions or something? It looks like they filmed this in 2016.
