I'm so confused as to why the overall ratings are very meh but the reviews are mostly positives and full of praises

This is basically capitalism right here lol. The rich gets richer by gaining access to crucial information from the government while the poor are basically just pawns they can use. But it's nice to see there are some resistances against the rulling alliance tho. Got me rooting for the underdogs :D Four episodes really flew by. Can't wait for the next episodes!

The quality of the matches and teams have grown to new heights! I even love the competitiveness of it, we regularly see yellow and even red cards now. The leagues are tougher than ever and we love to see it :)

The creators succeeded in converting the main idea from the webtoon format into a series but the overall detail was weak. The dialogues and script felt really really webtoon-ish and it just didn't work for a series imo. Promising story but hindered by the tacky details.

I had time to kill and was strolling through the theaters, found out they were showing Soulmate. Pretty glad I decided to watch it. Great pacing on the story with some solid acting. 7/10 for me

Usually Na PD's shows last around 10-12 episodes. Idk for sure tho

I'm just glad I watched it on Netflix with all the skip and fast-forward features.... Imagine the Koreans watching on TV lol they might actually slept through the episodes out of boredom 💀

Kind of expecting more on the climax especially with almost 2 hrs of run time but all in all it's still a good watch.
