Ok, so, I'll be honest, the first 5 episodes of this show did not wow me. I saw the potential and was willing…
well, credits to p'Nuchy and the screenwritting team honestly cuz GMMTV never realy do anything except exploit from fans of the BL series and the artists
the wasted plot potential between the bully and the girl victim :( wanted to see her get her own revenge
same :( i wanted them to fight ever since they turned but they never met, i wanted to see her hunt for those who bullied her cuz she was so determined to destroy the phones, so why not take revenge yk
does anyone wonder what happens to the science teacher? the last scene of him is when he turned and he looks like a hambie, also, he's not in the zombie crowd when they were about to bomb the place
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
i also talk about BL fans in my comment too, sometimes (if not half of the time) their idea of a gay couple is different from real life couples, like there gotta be a height difference, physique difference, age difference, masc and fem, dom and sub, and especially there has to be a top and a bottom and they probably don't know switch or vers (maybe that thought only comes to mind when a couple have similar physique like Max and Tul), and some are even homophobic irl or gatekeeping actors from acting with another actress/actor and harass their co-star and they'd get mad if thing don't go according to how they want it to be, ect... and I honestly don't want to call myself a "BL fan" because of those people
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
i also don't follow Santa and Earth so i really don't know how their fandom is like
i mostly follow GMMTV and Nadao artist and most of their fandom (that i have seen) are pretty chill about ship names, or don't even pay that much attention to that at all because they just call the ship however they want
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
I'm literally from Asia and I have never heard of such rules, but "fujoshi" or so called "BL fans" is a different kind of fandom than an artist's actual fandom, they follow the category, not the artist and sometimes (if not half of the time) their idea of a gay couple might even be crooked, like there's gotta be a top and a bottom but they rarely think of switch or vers, they call actors "BL actor" as if it's the only thing that they act in because that's probably the only thing that they watch from that actor if they claim they're a fan of the artists and there's such thing as riots, then they're not real "fans" honestly, cuz true fans'd care more about the artist than a ship name and don't mind what's the ship's called, and they may even ship "ghost ships" or even ship the artist with their co-star in their other projects that aren't BL (sorry this kinda becomes a rant)
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
even in animals are in that order, like liger and tigon so it's not really just "In the yaoi and BL universe", if you see it as an innocent shipping thing then you'll see that people are not really that opposed to changes or differences, like even in shipping kpop idols, there's chaelisa and lichaeng, even though they're literally the same people that's Rosé and Lisa, or in BL like OffGun fandom, once in a while we still joke about GunOff, it's not that serious
I just hate that they always do that in tv shows' credit, BL, or straight, they always put the "masculine" character first (one example of BL is this one, the story focus a bit more on White's side but Sean is the first in credit and a straight one is Girl next room series, the shows clearly focus on the girls but they always credit the guy first)
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
even if you're not in the fandom you'll know that Krist is "the bottom" and Singto is "the top", i think they're called KristSingto mostly for the marketing, like all 3 of their photobooks are called Kissing, which is the hononym of KitSing, note that Thai is a tonal language too so KitSing sounds much smoother than SingKit, many in their fandom still prefer SingtoKrist even though most of the fandom use KristSingto.
ngl that blow in the head was the thing that gets me to watch this i don't like that they killed Chan but i like that they don't kill Nawin and and actually punish him, he gets what he deserves and i find that kinda rare in Thai shows cuz many times i have seen people do bad stuff but always forgiven and never punished for it
that's the problem i see with most shows in thailand, the first in credit is always the supposed "top" (in bl)…
maybe? i don't think so cuz many ship names, not only in Thailand but many other countries are in that order too, gay and straight ones some ship names are in different order like KristSingto or LoveMon so i think it just depends on how it sounds
Am I the only one suspecting Dan being the one who did that to Black?? I mean not directly, but like he was sent…
i think it's very unlikely that he was the one to hurt black and works for Tawi since his art revolves around exposing Tawi's dirty work, joining is not really something that he wants since he told Yok not to follow him, he just want to do things independently and that's why people can't track him down. since the first trailer, the storyline and their relationship is rewritten to be a lot more diferent than the actual novel, especially Tod, Dan and Gumpa's relationship with the gang. the teaser is just for you to know the concept of the series, not the whole show so we shouldn't really rely on that, a rule of thumb when watching GMMTV's show is not to trust the trailer so much cuz sometimes they aren't really exactly like how the trailer portrays, like how they make Theory of Love look like a ball of fluff with some drama in it but when you watch it from start to finish your tear are enough to water a tree lol
